Hailing from a small working class town east of Vancouver BC, along the banks of the mighty Fraser River, the Whiskey Kings are a southern rock blues band formed in Mission, BC, Canada in late 2011. The music is an interesting and comfortable blend of old meets new, a melting pot of gritty bluesy southern rock, Americana, folk, rockabilly and country, with a focus on catchy riffs, melodies and big choruses, with lyrical content that is intelligent, nostalgic, poignant and sometimes... well... just about a good time.
