After leaving the Navy, I studied stage tech in the 80s and fell into electronic and experimental music. I recorded sound effects for theatre, helped students with audition tapes, and produced a a few radio plays for the university station. Even singing in a metal band.
After school through the 90's I worked part‑time as a stage tech and took on whatever jobs paid the bills. Built and repaired instruments and stage gear.
When I retired, I finally started making music as a hobby. Having no patience and even less discipline for practice, kept me away formal music study, So I stick to a DIY “learn by doing” approach. Most of my tracks are spontaneous home‑studio improvisations — usually created while waiting for dinner to finish cooking. I’ve been posting on Mixposure since October 2007.
