so a whole note is pleasing to the ear

and a flat is dull and a sharp is shrill
so the chromatic scale was created technically by Pythagorus in 500 bc
use this scale to make your melodies go along with your beat.your notes and your beats (melody)

your flats are dull so they drag your beat your sharps are shrill so they interupt.

i hopw this was helpful......and gallileo's father,in 1500 tranposed meaning he took the scale and made it higher and lower.

study "the circle of fifths" (scales) this was pythagoruseses doing.why did he make it like this...study that..

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to tell you that I..ve been featured on the front page of a major German radio station.

3 days ago I joined a site owned by a Top Radio station here in Germany, and one of their editors discovered me, and featured my songs on their front page.
This is major exposure, and radio play on German radio.
Here..s the link:

http://my.sputnik.de

Hope you..re all having a great weekend.

Just created the site with its components - now gotta learn what the benefits are of being here. I've reviewed someone's tunes which sounded very good indeed. I do wish he were local, I'd try to hook-up with him: awesome expression in this guys lead tones, very Carlos Santana (whom I love). I also got reviewed today, a fairly positive review of "I Believe". It's always good to get encouraging feedback.

Well it's been a while coming to completion, but my new CD is ready to be released in July.

Apart from my Australian session musicians, it also includes the Keys and Harp talents of fellow mixposure artist White Boy Slim from Canada......His work just added the finishing touches to the project !

I have uploaded snapshots of the cover artwork onto my phot page.

regards from Australia to all my friends here,

Henry

Thank you all for the birthday greetings (Monday). I should be slowing down, but what the heck. So many scales and arpeggios to climb and descend. Twenty-two keys to get lost in. Gazillions of chord voicing to explore. All without a map and a compass. A universe yet before a final cadence.

And I've sold a house - which in these times is no small achievement.
