IMusicScene is my official site

By bdfutch, 2008-01-27

Signed up today for the platinum account. I've taken my soundclick site off of V.I.P status and moved here. I think what I like about IMusic Scene is that it is more like a community of like minded individuals with the same goal in mind. To get better. What's not to like about that?

About the last 2 songs I posted

By Milo, 2008-01-27

Ok first of I just want to thank every one for listening to my music in the first place, and for Rasmuth and RSCain (hope I spelled that right) for playing them on there shows, its such a thrill.

Now first things first,, Ok.
I am not a studio muso, never will be, and I'm not the best with Timming etc I know that,
and always trying to improve, so just enjoy the songs for what they are.

Also the last 2 songs I posted " Dead on Arrival" and "Upside down" were done with my band "Soulhaven" about six years ago on a CD we did called "Dead On Arrival"
I just played the guitar, we did it in a studio up in Australia, all I did was just play guitar..

The songs I'm doing now are just for fun, If people like them cool, if not no big deal, I remixed and remixed acouple my songs just to please others but it just drove me nuts when even after the mix they still werent happy. You know what..
from now on I'm writting how I want.. and hopefully I can enjoy the song , and so can others.
I'm not trying to **** any one off but this whole timming thing or too much this or that got me down and I didnt play for a week. I dont want to go through that again..

I just want to enjoy my music for what it is.
I'm not Joe Satriani, or Steve Vai, or any one else

I'm Jason W Ramsay (Milo) and thats all that matters ..

ONE MORE TRY

By DICARLO PRODUCTIONS, 2008-01-26

BECAUSE I KNOW YOU ALL LIKE THE OLD SKOOL ROCK AND BLUES STUFF, I DUG UP ANOTHER ONE OF MY ROCK TRACKS FROM 1990. :D

THIS SONG IS A BIT IN THE BRYAN ADAMS STYLE, MIXED WITH T-REX, AND HAS A KIND OF 50`S STYLE, ALMOST COUNTRY STYLE BRIDGE. :D
A SONG ABOUT BREAKING UP.
YOU KNOW, WHERE YOU SCREWED UP, AND THE RELATIONSHIP IS FALLING APART, AND YOU`RE TRYING TO FIND A WAY TO KEEP IT TOGETHER, BECAUSE YOU REALISE THAT YOU REALLY LOVE THIS ONE. :D
WE`VE ALL BEEN THERE. :D

CREDITS;

DICARLO; MUSIC & LYRICS

DICARLO; GUITARS, BASS, DRUMS, LEAD VOCAL & BACKING VOCALS
JOE & JORG; BACKING VOCALS

RECORDED ANALOG ON AN OTARI 8 TRACK IN 1990 AT THE SAME STUDIO I RECORDED THE SONG BEFORE THIS ONE "YOU DID IT TO ME".

NOTE; THIS IS ANOTHER ONE THAT WAS COPIED FROM A CASSETTE OF THE MASTER TAPE TO MINI DISC, AND THEN TO CD, AND WORKED ON IN THE COMPUTER TO BETTER THE SOUND A BIT. I HOPE TO GET ALL THESE ANALOG MASTER TAPES COPIED DIRECT TO CD ONE OF THESE DAYS, AND THEN WORK ON THEM AGAIN.
NOT THAT I COULD SELL THESE SONGS, BECAUSE THIS STYLE IS VERY DATED,AND WOULD HAVE TO BE TOTALLY RE-ARRANGED AND MAYBE PUT OUT BY A YOUNG ROCK BAND.
STILL A GOOD SONG, AND COULD BE A HIT. :D

PEACE,
D

Thanks!

Thanks!

Hi everyone! Hey I just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for all the reviews for DFW not to mention hanging out at iMS. This site has been a lot of hard work but has also provided a lot of fun, friendship and creativity.

I have listened to some truly remarkable artists on here. I am surprised more of you guys are not signed. Listening to your music helps inspire me.

Gabriel's tracks help inspire me to keep our songs short. :D
Shane's tracks inspire me to keep redoing vocals tracks until they sound better.
Chrickon and Gary C inspire me to give up the guitar completely. 8)
Floridamusic inspires me to never do mixes on my own.
Dicarlo inspires me to never type in caps.
And Finally, WildCherry and Baby K inspire me to be the best person I can be. You two are simply the best ;)

Thanks again to everyone for supporting iMS!

Graveyard Blues by The Moderators

By mixjams, 2008-01-25
Graveyard Blues by The Moderators

I was cleaning up my hard drive and came across this one. Not really a jam but a song done by some of the moderators at the time for Halloween 2006. Thought I'd post it here rather than leave it buried in the forum archives.

Michael Nunley - vocals, vocal effects and synth
Dazed - song concept and rhythm guitar (left)
Strong Tom - bass
Saturated - guitar solos 1 & 3, demonic voices
Peter Mercer - rhythm guitar (right), solo 2, drum programming and mix
