Hi folks, last few days to get yourself a #free copy of the Clinging to Satellites (AntiDome Remix) over on our website: http://wearechord.tumblr.com/free before it's officially released on Monday 30th September 2013...
finally got a tune done ,,bit of progressive house and its sub 5 minutes ,,so double result
Not that there's a direct tie-in to the independent music scene, but by mere coincidence, I suspect many of the wonderful friends I've made at Mixposure.com might be interested to know that it's National Drink Beer Day! Not that you need an excuse, but this is one of the better ones I've encountered to justify getting blitzed...

SOMETIMES I SIT AND WATCH
This site of mine, is for all music styles and tastes. Sharing it with as many people as possible. The audience at the moment covers America, Canada and the UK. The audience is getting larger all the time.
We all know how music affects us emotionally, whether it is slow, upbeat, romantic or fun, and then there is also the same song covered by different artists. How they portray it and each one sends a different emotion, thought or feeling even though thhe song is actually the same one.
So pop along and see if you would like to be part of this new venture.
As is said the music for all, so no matter your taste or style, all is welcome.
Everyone - Please check out the below from Doug Dickens!
For the past two years, I have been doing a showcase of independent artists over on my Facebook Timeline ( https://www.facebook.com/douglas.dickens2 ) and Artist Page ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Doug-Dickens/129082457174626 ). Each week I bring forward new artists that I have found on Reverbnation ( http://www.reverbnation.com/dougdickens?profile_view_source=header_icon_nav ) and post their music with a short introduction. This is not a review by any standard because I only want to share the wealth of the multitude of amazing talent that, for the most part goes unnoticed in our world of commercial junk that is forcefed to us by the corporate moguls in the entertainment business. No hard feelings here, but our world has changed with the vast power of the internet and I believe it is our time to shine. What is out there on the radio really does not compare to what we have to offer in the creative realm. I continue to do these showcases because of the networking possibilities for the artists as well as attracting new fans for their efforts. There is an event page on Facebook as well ( https://www.facebook.com/events/339479352809389/ ).
I am hoping to take this one step further here on Mixposure radio. Why here you say? Well, I really appreciate the site and the wonderful music that is already presented here as well as the fact that it is totally independent artists without the intrusion of established, mainstream talent. Not only that, but I really feel the love for music of all the artists here and as a new member here have found that there is no 'attitude' but nothing but support for us. It is also nice to have a place where we can set up our own pages. The combination of a viable radio station connected to a website for the artists and the all inclusiveness and cooperation is tantamount to the success of this venture.
I want to thank all those here who have made me feel at home and look forward to creating a radio version of the Showcase of Independent Artists right here on Mixposure. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for making me feel at home.
