There you have it. "Interactive Radio" - only on MIX Radio! We've done our 4th "Center Stage Presentation" segment now. All of them were a great success so far! This last one (June 28, 2008) was the amazing Michael Fix out of Australia. Can he play that guitar? WOW! If you actually want to see him play the guitar, just check out ANY of his Videos on YouTube! It's well worth it and I am sure that you think the same way I do: "He sure makes it look easy!"

You can learn more about Michael Fix by visiting his homepage as well as subscribe to his newsletter right here.

Listen to more of Michael's music on his Mixposure Home. Truly a class act, as are all the artists we feature during my "Saturday Night Rocks" show.

It's a pleasure, featuring all of these great artists from all over the world. Not just during the Center Stage Presentation, but in general. What an abundance of talent! Who would need mainstream radio? I sure do not! Independent Artists are far more original and entertaining (yes, you may quote me on that!).

If you missed this last show, you can listen to it again via the following links:

June 28, 2008 SNR - featuring Michael Fix - Hi-Fi

June 28, 2008 SNR - featuring Michael Fix - Lo-Fi

For all other re-broadcast links, please visit the Mix Radio Blogs Page

We hope to see you again next Saturday for another exciting Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation on Mix Radio via Mixposure.com

Cheers,

Mike

Hello everyone, my name is Lonnie and some of you may already know me from my band The London Project. The London Project is still active and doing well but I needed to create a new home for my production company, LOMAR Productions.

The songs you will find in this space are songs NOT written or performed by myself. These songs are representative of my production and engineering skills only.

Welcome to the New Mixposure everyone! I just wanted to take a few moments and share some information.

This site is not affiliated with the Mixposure of Old. I was a member there along with many of the existing members on this site. When Kyle let the domain go, we decided it would be a great idea to buy it. We tried to buy it from Kyle but he did not return our call. Instead we purchased it from a third party vendor.

That being said, are we the same as the Mixposure of old? Yes and No. Yes in that we provide a lot of the same features and No because we provide a lot of features that the old Mix did not offer.

I know some people had a great experience with the old Mixposure. Kyle built a great place for many musicians to hang their hat. It was ashame that it went down the way it did. Like the Phoenix though, Mixposure has risen again from out of the ashes. This time under new management and a team of dedicated musicians/moderators to make your experience a positive one.

Oh additionally, if you have links on the internet to your old mix page, make sure you use the same band name so your links become active again. If you are an existing member here and need a name change, please let me know.

I hope you enjoy the new Mixposure everyone.

The Mixposure Team

Hello everybody!

As we all know, the recent events got every one of us nervous and scared. The fact that the iMS is alive and kicking is truly great news. I would say the iMS has been reborm. To celebrate this event I suggest we compose, perform and record "The iMS Anthem".

A possible scenario of how we do that could be something like this: Let’s agree on a timetable, say, 2 or 3 weeks. Let our brilliant songwriters come up with something memorable and celebratory. Let them send their tunes to the iMS administration. Let Dazed or his designee encode the titles of the tunes and post them without mentioning the author’s name in order to avoid judgements based on authors reputation and good standing rather than musical merit of compositions (something like Song 01, Song 02, etc). Let’s then count popular vote (Florida musicians could be allowed to recount, lol…). The winning tune will be presented to our wonderful lyricists. When the song is ready let’s make it the biggest collaboration in iMS history – we have more than enough superstar singers, instrumentalists, arrangers and producers to make this work.

If anybody has other thoughts about this, bring it on, let’s discuss it!

What do y’all think about it?
