After receiving my mail and looking it over, I got very excited. Why you ask? There was a letter in there inviting me to attend an RSVP only Young Leaders Networking Party for young minority professionals. So what's the big deal on that?

First I have to say that I'm honored to be invited, because that's a sign to me that I'm doing things right. I have been working hard to brand myself as a young minority professional. My work with non profits, music and corporate America is allowing me the chance to create that brand. It's not easy work, and I believe the more work you put in, the more you get out. This party we be held on June 19th, 2008 @ The Four Seasons in downtown St. Louis.

The party will consist of networking with young professionals (under 40) who are from the regions top companies. There will be guest there from: Asian-American Bar Association, Black Accountants, Black Engineers, Black MBA Association and Urban League Young Professionals, just to name a few. The event is sponsored by The Regional Business Council.

This opportunity will allow me to network with the other attendees, and give them details about my community work with the Nash Youth Association and Urban Future, as well as my grind with 39th Ave Music. It will also allow me to continue to educate people on my mission to bring hope and change to the game of hip hop, as well as be that Ambassador for the hip hop culture at events of this nature. (After all hip hop is a business)

This is another tool in my belt, to continue to spread my Ambassador of Hope Hop message!

Be Easy & God Bless

I thought I'd upload a song I wrote when my kids were in Primary School. At the time I had the idea of a "Rock Opera" for kids but only got as far as three songs. The first one's "I Hate Homework" which is pretty much every kids' mantra. I posted under "Humour" only because I couldn't find a "Childrens" genre.

Cheers

G'day friends,

Its been a long week,

spent most of it at my local hospital again due to having Pneumonia again, the second time around I hope we have gotten rid of it.

It really knocks you around, Im also in the process of getting my guitar fixed so there hasnt been much room for recording. hopefully once i get back from the UK next month i can get back into it, there has just been so much on this year with so many trips, and not just holiday trips, but trips to the hospital etc..

I wanted to post a quick message regarding Mantra of Peace. If you have a moment, please stop by the page and check it out. This was a project that Paul (Zest) put together and features many of the artists of iMusicScene. The others will hopefully be here soon! :D

Great idea Paul and nice collection of musicians you rounded up

Dazed

Sorry I haven't been around much of late. I've had a busy time at work for the last month and with my wife away overseas for the month I took a few extra acoustic gigs that I wouldn't normally do. But she's now back and I've just finished the last of my current workload and am going to give myself a couple of days off to catch up on what's been happening around here and return a few outstanding reviews

If anyone has something special they'd like me to listen to, just send me a PM. Otherwise, once I catch up on my returns I'll just start working through the new songs.

Cheers

TC aka The Ambassador of Hope Hop…

-A Diplomat to the game of Hip Hop, who serves as an official representative for the culture to the world, while keeping the message of Hope alive.

A lot of people have asked me what I mean when I use the term The Ambassador of Hope Hop! I'll be happy to explain that to the world, so that my fans can understand my approach and take on the hip hop game. When I use the term Ambassador of Hope Hop, I'm basically stating that I want to use my diplomatic skills to help bring hope back to the game of hip hop, and not just in terms of my music. I want to represent the culture in a respectable manner on and off the mic. I truly believe that I posses the skills to have a positive lasting effect on the music industry and world. My drive as the ambassador, is to help broker the hip hop culture to the world on another level. My music and message of hope is for the masses to take in!

well... things have been slow, but they are improving..

i have to enjoy listening to music this month as much as i can... as at the end of it, i am relocating, and this means i will only have a slow internet connection that won't support streaming... bummer..!!

so come next month... when my reviews (not that i do loads or anything) have dropped off completely... its not because i hate the place.. its just circumstance.

there... i knww this blog would eventually come in handy for something if i stayed with it.. ha ha..

It started a little over a year ago, under a couple different
titles, now complete - Wickerman. I'll be updating the mixes over the
next couple of weeks, and then, that's it.

Thanks for all the support and listens, it's time to take a break. Hope you enjoy what I've been able to do.

This was all recorded using Cakewalk Music Creator Pro, 16 bit.
Additional software - Sound Forge and a number of various free VST plug
in's. I programmed the drums using leafDrums and also used some canned
beats from a keyboard. This is also the first time I've tried to sing,
those results are still out.

I've learned alot about home recording over the course of the
project, thansk to all that helped me out - and a special thanks to
Bryant Calculator for the guitarwork in 'An Eternity'.

Until next time.
