This was a demo from 2006. Never finished it up but thought it would be fun to post. This was all acoustic guitar with some distortion and other effects.

I am gonna make a list of words ; emotional , cutting edge, intense, keen to the heart. OK so I made a few words but then this is a killer piece.it reminds me of a truly incredible period in the History of Rock and Roll. excellent Job.

Same things as Nigel...revisitig further down & some back. This song ROCKS really well, reminds me of 'Rush' -our well know Canuk band...likely one of the longest surviving bands anywhere.
Good vocals here; very solid, with good lyrics. Maybe a punchier percussion is about all, otherwise it has a great groove, pushed by the fine guitar driving on in fine motion. Great tune; as if it was brand new to fresh ears. Like it very much Dazed.
GREAT track. -Your friend. -Vesa.

Revisit this mate.
I mean, after all, surely after running an OMD,holding down a job, raising a family and eating and sleeping, there must be time left for music right?
Well IMHO,this warrants you revisiting it.
You can certainly hear what it wants to be...
It could go two ways actually...
Radio friendly,or not so friendly.
Given this one some power and you will have a quite a belter on your hands.
Ease back and it will become more atmospheric...
But either way,revisit

Solid guitar work, with a catchy hook. I have to divert from the others on the vocals, at least in regards to effects. First, this particular listen was inhibited by a hot mix, so there was distortion on the high end. I'd also like to hear your powerful voice with less reverb, as your delivery is compelling (don't take this as an insult, but very much like Paul Stanley of KISS), and a drier track would fit the bill.

Demo......great classic rockin' sound from just an effected acoustic guitar Dazed. The guitar sound is unique in the amount of depth it exudes. Real nice with all the harmonic distortions properly aligned....a BBE sort of sound. Great vox on this also! I hope you get back to this one and finish it out.

I had to download this to put it into the rotation at the house and office. I really like how you build on the the verse and morph into a layered changes with the parts. Very original. Great effort and result.

Great song! Truly pro vocals and good lyrics. The drums seemed a little low in the mix (maybe this was intended or maybe its just my audio equipment!) any it seved to

Sorry, pushed the 'save comment' in error! Was just going on to say that the restrained drums emphasised the great guitar work.
Excellent song

Damn Dazed, this isn't what I'm used to hearing from you. I LOVE IT! Just a flat out powerful piece from begining to end. Vox are killer man. Great job!

Well I have not updated this...
Just a heads up to also start looking for music from WildCherry, Saturated, Buddrumming and Dazed over at Wild SaturDazed .
Well I have not updated this in forever so here is a little background on me.
Music started for me at an early age. My father sang opera and played piano so there was always music around the house. Around the age of 12 or so I got a Tara acoustic guitar. I am not sure if they even make those any more. Anyway from there I went to an Electra electric guitar. I had a buddy who was ripping Eddie Van Halen solos around the age of 14 so he became my guide. The kid was brilliant. There was literally nothing he could not play including classical.
Anyway I started playing in a few bands. I bought a Gibson Les Paul Standard but was primarily doing vocals. I bounced around with bands but mostly played for my enjoyment. I ended up selling my Les Paul (long story) and this time, I had an Ovation 12 string and another electric. However I was just not playing as much so I pretty much stopped for 6 years.
Eventually I had the urge to play again so I had seen all of those Carvin Catalogs and bought a Carvin Cobalt Acoustic. Amazing guitar. By this time, my beautiful wife, WildCherry, had me building a website for her. It was kind of fun to do so I ended up building a site called Guitarstworks.com. Having that site really pushed me into playing more and opened up a whole new world for me. Home recording had me hooked. It was not long after that I bought a Carvin CT6M. What an amazing and stunning guitar! Then I added a Carvin amp and eventually WildCherry bought a Carvin custom Bass.
GuitaristWorks lasted about 2-3 years and we changed the name to iMusicScene in order to appeal to all musicians and not be specific to only one instrument. iMS was beginning to grow when the Mixposure domain was set to expire. Obviously we acquired the domain but at a hefty price. Hopefully it will work out for everyone in the long run!
Thanks for reading my bio and checking out my page. Most of all though, thanks for being a part of Mixposure.
