<p>G'day every one,</p><p>well its been along time since I have been on here, and have to get back into the swing of things</p><p>but I need your help..</p><p>I jut bought a new quad core i7 laptp with windows 7 64 bit and 4 gig ram 1 gig graphics (i think)</p><p>any way I also bought an m-audio fast track usb unit for my guitaar to plug into via usb,</p><p>but it came with Protools SE , which Im finding incredibly difficult.. I used to have guitar tracks pro 3</p><p>which i gave away but the new versin gtp4 wont run on 64bit.. so looking for a similar but easy to use muilti tracking recording sofware that i can import my drum loops etc mix tracks to mp3 etc any ideas</p><p>thanks</p><p> </p><p>milo</p>
G'day guys, sorry I havent been around much for a while ,as in my previouse post I had a lot of computer troubles going on, so in the end I ditched my 6 year old xp pc and got a new laptop, a toshiba p4 duel core 2 2.1 ghz , 2 gig ram , 230 gig hard drive and windows vista home premium, man, getting used to vista is fun!
<div>Also on the weekend bought an external sound card for the laptop, its a zoom USB audio interface S2t, any one here got one?</div>
<div>its got a tube thingy in it and also came with cubase Le 4.. man fun times of getting that up n running, finally got it to record and play back, now just have to learn how to do some other stuff with it, like i used to in guitar tracks pro 3, this new cubase comes also with guitar rig 3, heaps of cool guitar sounds that I need time to play around with, so I'm back in a of and on thing for the time being.. </div>

<p><font size="3">What a year 2007 was.. </font></p><p><font size="2"><font face="times new roman,times"><font size="3">I'll start my year from november cause thats when things changed for me with the passing of my of my mum</font>. </font></font><br /><font size="2">Then in January / febuary I started loosing all my momentum. I couldnt walk, drive, hold a knife or do anything or play my guitar. It was very scary times. I ended up going to hospital for spinal cord operation. Thankfully it was a success, left anylonger and I may have been a quadroplegic (spell) that would have been fun.. not..</font></p><p><font size="2">Not long after that I had to go to another funeral for my mums brother who had Motoneron deseie (spell). So had to recover from that.</font></p><p><font size="2">So inbetween all this we were renovating my house, re doing the bathroom and repainting bedrooms, new carpet etc.</font></p><p><font size="2">I also started playing guitar again at church , and started doing a radio show on our local comunity fm radio station with a mate of mine. </font></p><p><font size="2">Then on sunday a neighbour / friend of mine passed away from lung cancer , and had another funeral yesterday. </font></p><p><font size="2">So its been an eventfull year </font>. </p><p><font size="2">Lets hope next year is a better one</font><img src="/include/tiny_mce/../../images/smilies/face-smile.png" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /> </p><p> <font size="2">oh if your listening to my music using the ipod player thingy to the right and the songs stopping and starting, press pause and let it load for a while then press pause again, seems to help if you have a slow internet conection like me.</font> <img src="/include/tiny_mce/../../images/smilies/face-sad.png" border="0" alt="" /></p><p><font size="3">If you want to download my songs go to the audio section of my site here </font></p><p> video of my guitars</p><p>http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=p4nsu0jyIHE </p>

<p>I had to go over to South Australia for a while due to a family funeral. </p><p>It was a long trip but good to do it , now hope to be back to writing some songs again.. which I havent done for a while...</p>
