Artist Of The Month David Joel Carter AKA Twank Whelam (RIP)
As most of you know, we lost our good friend David Joel Carter last month. A songwriter, musician, and a great fan of independent music, David made many friends on this site and many others, with his wit, a wonderful sense of humor, and his very big heart. So, for the month of August, let's take a moment or two, and remember our good friend.

Thanks @jimsae a very big void for me too, although I am not a musician, you know I am a big fan of MixPosure & the musicians here. David Joel Carter AKA Twank Whelan & I hit it off right way when I first met him in MixPosure radio shows last year ~ with his music, personality, humor, & genuine caring for other musicians & fans. We became good cyber friends.....we had common interests, e.g. music...I thoroughly enjoyed his music as Twank Whelan & in partnership with Ricky Mancini in Rogue Fungi.....& David had a heart of Gold....Sure do miss that guy, took a chunk out of my heart...Gone but not forgotten
