Tony and Yvonne met and dated in the 1980's at the same time I met my future wife Julie. Tony and Yvonne separated and moved on with their lives; Julie and I kept in touch with Tony but over the years lost contact with Yvonne. About five years ago Julie woke up one day and said something told her she had to find Yvonne, "like God whispered in my ear and told me to do this," which she eventually did. At the same time Tony called me about putting the band back together, and I mentioned to him that Julie had connected again with Yvonne, who Tony had also not seen in years. Then one day while the band was practicing at my house, Yvonne came over to see Julie, Tony and Yvonne saw each other again for the first time in over 20 years, and knew they were meant to be together. I wrote this song for them. Two years ago they married.
