<p><span style="color: #99cc00;">HI,I just posted Rainy Day</span></p><p><span style="color: #99cc00;">So thats a good song.......</span></p><p><span style="color: #99cc00;">I been reading quite a bit lately, thought i'd share these little treasures with you</span></p><p><span style="color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: large;">what's Sampling?</span>........the book says it's analogue to digital converting....it's your sound card that does this .....and to hear it it's digital to analog converting. </span></p><p><span style="color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: large;">Sample Rate ?......<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span></span>at's how many times per second it converts analog signal</span></p><p><span style="color: #99cc00;">CD quality is now 44,100 bits per second........</span></p><p><span style="font-size: large; color: #99cc00;">What's 16 or 24 bit?.....<span style="font-size: x-small;">16 bits are how the signal is stored</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large; color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">24 bit is higher quality <span style="font-size: medium;">but<span style="font-size: x-small;"> .....you,ll use up twice as much storage space</span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large; color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;">What's Clipping?....<span style="font-size: x-small;">clipping is when you record at too high a level and the top and bottom of the wave are cut off.......it can cause pops in your mix</span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large; color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;">What's Sequencing?.....<span style="font-size: x-small;">it's what writes your midi notes ...your digital keyboard feeds the notes.......duration, pitch, pressure are all recorded. I's all digital ....digital from the keyboard to digital in the "Sequencer" which is also in your sound card.........</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large; color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">You can adjust the settings in your midi (musical instrument digital interface) sequence after you have recorded it......., timing , duration of notes, even (timbre) , which is the kind of instrument sound. You can use vsti synthesizers but you need a ASIO driver.......you can get asioall free.....go to google.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large; color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">so you seeyou owe it to me ...the name of my song is <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/index.php?t=mixposure_song_player&song_id=18045&band_id=2035"><span style="font-size: large;">Rainy Day</span></a> give it a chance it ll move you to tears.....</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large; color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">thanks</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #99cc00;">Joel</span><br /></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></span></p>
<p>heard of this guy before.......</p><p>he really cares......his music is his image and it goes so melodiously...the tone of his band is mild for rock and if you know how to mix music you can learn something from "what this man has going" His guitar licks are just rambling that go nowhere.....like i say this guy is kind, intelectual, and he" has " something for us : here's the link <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_kk_1?rh=i%3Adigital-music%2Ck%3Aeric+johnson&keywords=eric+johnson&ie=UTF8&qid=1284749795"><span style="font-size: large;">ERIC JOHNSON</span></a></p>
<p><span style="color: #e54245;">did a bit of reading about mixing .. The books call it a mix-down and in one book i read that you are to mix your eq down instead of up ,so that's probably it......i couldn't find anything else that mentioned it...Help me on this one......<span style="font-size: large;">Why <span style="font-size: x-small;">would you mix down</span></span>.......i think it means that you won't hear the instruments below the one you boost up....</span></p><p><span style="color: #e54245;">So i mixed down and used my pan ....they call pan a 3D effect and you will see it is....</span></p><p><span style="color: #e54245;">So this is the most professional song i've made....even used the master eq...it takes all the tracks together and tones.....well thanks .download my new song it you want...It's called </span></p><p><a href="http://www.mixposure.com/index.php?t=mixposure_song_player&song_id=19827&band_id=2035"><span style="font-size: large;">Cry Yi</span></a></p>

<p><span style="color: #00ccff;">this is an older version of the same song..... i post the song because it's a nice arrangement. It's much better and has some really big movements....It's been # 13 in folk....please check it out....hopefully it will go over big.....</span>. <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/index.php?t=mixposure_song_player&song_id=18045&band_id=2035"><span style="font-size: large;">Rainy Day</span></a></p>
<p>if i ever find someone that's plays me as good as Paul Koch we will be a rock stars......</p><p>nice to have someone that goes all out with you....this song surly is an example of that</p><p><a href="http://www.mixposure.com/index.php?t=mixposure_song_player&song_id=19777&band_id=2035"><span style="font-size: x-large;">Paul Koch & myself 2</span><br /></a></p>
<p><span style="font-size: xx-large; font-family: arial black,avant garde; color: #ff0000;">3RD & 6TH NOTES </span></p><p><span style="font-size: xx-large; font-family: arial black,avant garde; color: #ff0000;">ARE FLAT IN THE OCTAVE </span></p><p><span style="font-size: xx-large; font-family: arial black,avant garde; color: #ff0000;">TO MAKE A MINOR SCALE</span></p>
<p>The box office........YA!!! right</p><p>it's more like an animation that repeats</p><p>but if you get the design of it you will see it changing in all sorts of different ways because it is an indepth structure moving and your eye is sure to see many depths as it rotates........</p><p>for all who are interested i found out what bass and treble and midrange are......</p><p>when you pluck a string it puts out many different frequencies, short ones (high tones) middle range ones.(midrange)......right ...but it stays the note because the lowest sound ,or the longest wave, (lowest frequency) is the center and the longest wave of them all ,so all the other frequencies are shorter , you can adjust the shorter ones (treble) (midrange) ect...</p><p>the lower the Hertz,(sound waves per second) the longer the wave and the lower the tone......we hear the range from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz..dogs hear as high as 60,000 Hz...........the A above middle C is 440 Hz</p><p>MY NEW VIDEO IS CALLED............<a href="http://www.mixposure.com/ranking.php?mode=video&size=0&video_id=1249&row_template=videos.tpl"><span style="font-size: large;">CRATE WHEELER</span></a></p>
