Activity Stream

Mela, short for Melani and Meli, short for Melvin have been co-writing songs for several years now. Our process generally works like this; 1) I create the composition and arrangement, usually on acoustic 12 string guitar and send it to Mela. 2) She has a listen and comes up with lyrics and a reference vocal track. 3) At this point, I will decide which other artists to invite based on the style of song and the availability and desire of our talented friends= Company.  For drums we are joined by either Kent Taylor or Pete Goindi, both excellent at their craft, but quite different in their style of play. For bass, Tedd VanWagner has been a frequent flyer to our good luck! He also plays many instruments including lap steel which has come in handy more than once. Bill Watkins has also been kind enough to join us, as has Yvalain Debodinance. On lead guitar, Brice cross has contributed to many a song and Giampiero Giamp a few as well. These guys can shred with the best and always give a tune a lift! For synth and keys we turn to Kai Liebert, Fred White or captain Pierre Rosique depending again on the style of song. Each has shared their stellar talents and raised the songs to their full potential. 4) Finally, after all the instruments are mixed, Melani adds her final vocal tracks, including harmonies and backing. 
         Melani and I love nothing more than creating new music with our friends and each project blossoms in some wonderful and sometimes surprising ways. We can't thank them enough for adding their creative spirits to our original tunes. We hope you enjoy hearing our final results and we thank YOU in advance for listening.
