CSP - August 2, 2008 Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation with John Crafton Rebroadcast
By iMS Radio, 2008-08-02

Another great Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation is in the books, this time with our special guest John Crafton, along with his project Fable! This presentation was very good in that John and his fellow artists were giving the listeners not only excellent music and an inside view of what John Crafton is all about, but also food for thought about some of the issues humanity has to deal with in these days. Thought provoking and entertaining. How much better can it get for an interested audience? It doesn't get much better than this!

Listen to more of John Crafton's music HERE.

As always, it's a pleasure to feature all of these great artists from all over the world on Mix Radio. Not just during the Center Stage Presentation, but in general. What an abundance of talent! Who would need "traditional" mainstream radio? I sure do not! Independent Artists are far more original and entertaining (yes, you may quote me on that!) We feature many such artists who should be mainstream, because they are that good!

If you missed this last show, you need to make it your duty to listen to a rebroadcast via the following links:

August 2, 2008 SNR - featuring John Crafton - Hi-Fi

August 2, 2008 SNR - featuring John Crafton - Lo-Fi

The complete playlist of this past Saturday's show is HERE.

For all other re-broadcast links, please visit the Mix Radio Blogs Page

We hope to see you again next Saturday for another exciting Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation via Mixposure.com - "Interactive Radio" at its best!

Your Host,

Mike K

CSP - August 2nd, 2008 Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation with John Crafton
By iMS Radio, 2008-07-30

Well, I have you know that John Crafton was finally a guess within the General Chat - Mix Center Stage Presentation thread within the Mix Radio DJ's Corner Forum . Well, I did leave a few hints. ReaperSG listed some choices and after a very smart observation by WhildHoneyPie, knowing who does solo work and who does not, the choice was almost obvious. I gave a couple of clues, but the Community did well!

Without further delay, "Interactive Radio" on Mix Radio is proud to present the next Artist up for the "Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation" during my Saturday Night Rocks show on August 2, 2008: The amazing John Crafton (and Fable). Influences such as: CSN, Taylor, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell. Steeley Dan, Tom Rush, Angel Heart, The Pouges, World Travel, History, Science, Theology, Geography, The Sea, my Wives, my Children, Politics, Religion, Love, War, and others, will give you somewhat of a clue as to what this fine artist is all about!

I am not giving away too much about John, as he himself did really very well in this CSP to let all of the listeners know what the music and the people behind it is/are about.

So, please tune in to Mix Radio, the "Interactive Radio" via Mixposure.com at 8 pm Eastern Time - USA and join us in the Chat Room for some fun chat during the show! CSP - July 26, 2008 Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation with Aimless Sessions
By iMS Radio, 2008-07-23

I dare say that my audience is becoming a bit spoiled in expecting nothing but the best in Indie Artist's music when it comes to "Saturday Night Rocks" and the "Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation", correct? I know that some of our Mixposure members have placed their guesses as to who the next CSP will be in the General Chat - Mix Center Stage Presentation thread within the Mix Radio DJ's Corner Forum . Gina (WildHoneyPie) had the Genre right in one of her guesses and Blake from TCP actually had the artist right (the first choice of his two guesses). It's just a fun little thing we do between shows!

Without further delay, "Interactive Radio" on Mix Radio is proud to present the next Artist up for the "Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation" during my Saturday Night Rocks show on July 26, 2008: none other than the project (I suppose you can call it that) known as Aimless Sessions. Jazz at it's finest!!!

If Aimless Sessions has a "Band Leader", it would be whom you know as White Chameleon. Many in the Indie Music Scene also know him as Markku. I have been familiar with Markku's music for a few years now and am excited that we get to know him and those who work with him on the great tunes Aimless Sessions produces just a little bit better. This will be another great CSP - I can guarantee it!

So, please tune in to Mix Radio, the "Interactive Radio" via Mixposure.com at 8 pm Eastern Time - USA and join us in the Chat Room for some fun chat during the show! There's always a great crowd hanging out, so don't be shy and come on in! In addition to Aimless Sessions great Center Stage Presentation, I will bring you a great mix of Independent Artist's music from all over the world! After all, Mixposure is not only the home, but also the "future of Independent Music"!!!

The show is all set up and ready to go. Song requests during the show will be appended to what I have already set up. I have been digging and found some gems I want to share with the listeners.

You still have the opportunity to listen to last weeks show by going to the: Mix Radio Blogs Page here on Mixposure.com, which also includes a link to last week's artists/songs I've played.

Listen to more of TCP's music HERE.

Just a little factoid for those of you who are not familiar with Internet Radio when it comes to Independent Artists:

There are a huge number of "Indie Stations" on the Internet. I have done some extensive research over the past 4 years and I can tell you that most of those stations will have about 15 listeners MAX during one of their primetime shows. Well, I am happy to report that we hit a whopping 32 Listeners on this last show here on Mix Radio! This might not seem big to you as you are reading this, but it is!!! Also, it should tell you that there is work to be done! We need many more listeners to realize how great Independent Artists really are!!! YOU can help by spreading the word!
Well, I don't think I am off base when I declare that every single Center Stage Presentation so far as been a smash hit! I believe this to be true for not only the listeners to "Saturday Night Rocks", but also for the artists who have partaken in this special feature. Independent from those huge labels, which take away the creative freedom from those artists.

We here at Mixposure do not take away from that creativity and self-expression!
