CSP - Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation with Tobin James

ReaperSG named three candidates for this weekend's CSP. One he mentioned was dead on! Yeah, we're gonna be hearing a Blues artist this time!!! Tobin is one of those really dedicated Blues artists who give it their all! Originally from Dallas, Texas, Tobin moved to New York City. He is doing live shows and his music is very successfull - even with Clearchannel! Tobin is stating his influences to be (and that's a HUGE List): All the great Blues & Blues/Rock from the 60s. There were MANY great ones who still to this day entertain the masses! I can tell you that Tobin has put together an excellent Center Stage Presentation for you to enjoy! Was it just me or did <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/Dave_Keir/">Dave Keir</a> blow anyone elses mind with his acoustic guitar playing and songwriting skills as well? It was a pleasure to meet Dave in the Mixposure chatroom this past Saturday and those, who were lucky enough to meet him AND were able to talk to him while listening to his CSP, sure were appreciative as much as they were in awe by Dave's performances! I want to say thanks to everyone who was in the chat and tuned in, but a special thanks to Dave Keir, who basically stayed up all of Sunday morning in Scottland to listen to almost the entire show! CSP - SNR Center Stage Presentation 09-20-2008

OKAY!!! Nobody had any guesses as to this next Artist up for the Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation... oh well, not even close, really! Enough guessing: our next Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation is: <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/Henry_Harrington/">Henry Harrington</a> Folks, all I can tell you about this guy is that he's got an amazing style of acoustic guitar playing and is definitely one of the best lyricists out there. Always addressing social issues in the ways that make you think about what's is happening in the world. Well, at least the song selection for this particular CSP proves that little fact. Music for thought, but also VERY entertaining music. It's really a treat, believe me! Henry indicates some of his influences to be: Neil Young, Bruce Cockburn, Uncle Tupelo, Jeff Tweety, Stephen Stills - oh yeah! It shows, too! But, I sincerely believe that Henry Harrington has developed his own unique style and is up there with those guys he's mentioning. OKAY!!! The guesses were pouring in furiously in our Mix Radio DJ's Corner Forum and a couple of them were in the running for the winner. Who actually did it with his FIRST guess in his FIRST post??? CSP - Rebroadcast SNR Center Stage Presentation with Avalanche

<a href="http://www.mixposure.com/avalanche/">Avalanche</a>, and the founder of the band Avalanche Mike Foster, just blew away myself, the listeners and the folks in the live chat with this Center Stage Presentation! Folks, it just doesn't get any better than this, does it? To really learn about a band that has a 30 plus year history is just really amazing. When you invite a band of this caliber with that much history, you simply cannot limit them to a 5 minute narrative each inbetween sets! IMPOSSIBLE! So, that's why this one was 52 minutes long and every second of it was entertaining!! I've made it an hour, playing their track "The Road Less Travelled" - the anniversary tune of Avalanche, celebrating not only that they are keeping Classic Rock alive with their own distinctive sound, but also what matters most: friendship!!!
