I love the laid back sultry feel to this and all the many chord changes and places this goes. Very tasteful playing over it all as well.

So special and unique...Bravo!!!Love it!
I really enjoyed the listen ( Nice Sax )

Old Memory is great stuff. I thought Barry Gibbs (Bee Gees) started the song... love those guys of long ago. The jazzy feel to this song gives it a little bounce, ala Carlos Jobim or Astrud Gilberto (Brazilian jazz). Arrangement as well as the overall mix quite superb. Very pleasant to the ears! Thank you for the share!
Nice tune. Chord progression compliments the melody well. It would be to get to a full band behind this one to see it reach its full potential. Good luck!
Oh, my heart is just melting. No-one writes like this anymore. Smooth, gentle, playful, grooving. I'd love to play something like this. And your chord progression leads in an unexpected path. So cool. I am not one to like predictable, and this is not. Even the key solo is wonderfully unexpected in style and tone, yet fits. The sax is a really nice touch, as the notes have a sublte swell. Oh, I'm soooo diggin' this!!! Thanks for sharing it! ~Crystal
Awesome job to you both! nice retro jazz tune that goes perfectly with these lyrics! Holley
From the opening .....I knew this was special.Love the chord progression. Linda's lyrics are perfect for this musical creation.Richard and Mike ...BRAVO.... excellent work. OUTSTANDING...... Larry T.....
Cool musical frame for these sad but touching lyrics. Nice work!
Dave
Lost love and regrets Linda....makes sad fotter for the lyric you've penned but they are good! The music style and the title "Old Memory" go so well together. Mike's melody and Richard's guitar fit perfectly!
Farrell
Pleased to listen to the Princess- gifted lyricist! Kickin' back to your music, Wonderful production and band!

hey Linda dear, finally back to you! Glad you're keeping busy pumping out the lyrics. My fave here is the "sipping on red wine" verse. A very retrospective song (of course!) this was well done. Very interesting vocal qualities. I guess this qualifies as a 'torch song'. Real nice!! Hope all is well, and Happy New Decade. ..Blake
Beautiful Linda!! One of your lovely poems came to live once again ... this time Mike took it to another level, and he sure did a good job. Very nice arrangement, a classic Ballroom groove with a bouncing bass ... lovely guitar work by Richard!
Great collab folks!
Heinz.
Smooth bossa/latin feel, no surprise Richard John is here , luscious arrangement...just a bit of sadness comes out of this song...not the boohoo sadness but the kind that makes you think back and reminisce , indulge in memories..... what is and what could have been...I'm ashamed to say I was not familiar with Mike Lynn's work , so the vocals came a bit as a surprise to me...a nice surprise that is...there's tenderness in them and Mike's voice has got a beautiful tone...just the ticket for this kind of laid back songs. The lyrics seem to come out of some kind of diary...they are real , honest and I wish I could write like that...A direct line from the heart to the paper...
