The thick background pad at the first half is a great sound. The vocal harmonies give it a wonderful unified feel to it and keep it from sounding too unhappy or at least make one feel they are not...

A good one Paul! Lead vocal and harmonies are excellent. If you had a 12 string in there you could pass it off as a long lost Byrds' song...it's that good. Cool back and forth guitar riffing. Nicely done!
