billb summed it up quite well, seems to me. In a slightly uncomfortable way I enjoyed this. A lot. It is unique. I love the originality. Standing ovation from here.

I sat down, leaned back, and completely enjoyed this tune! It unfolds in a most interesting way, to me at least. Love the instrumentation. This was a pleasure and I appreciate you sharing this.

Love the floating guitars back and forth in the stereo field. Mighty fine guitar playing. A cool and interesting tune, too. I enjoyed this, Paul.

I am Michael Will, formerly of Winter's Resurrection.
I moved away from SC in support of my son being accepted into the University of Arizona so Robert and I decided to end Winter's Resurrection.
Since that time, God put the spark of creativity back into my heart. Robert and I are talking about doing some more tunes together but nothing has firmed up on that end as of yet... maybe after the beginning of the new year...
This song, as well as three others I have in various states of work, are intended to be part of a project that will hopefully, one day, result in a concept "album" which revolves around the Seven Seals from Revelation, Chapter 6, of The Holy Bible.
I come up with the ideas for how I want each song's story to represent the human aspect of what each seal brings upon mankind. I shape the lyrics and the rhyme patterns, I shape the melodies, I play all the guitars and bass and on this particular song, the piano is a programmed virtual instrument, but when I came up with the piano part, originally, I played it myself. I do not have access to any midi keyboard or a real piano so I programmed it exactly as I played it originally. The only thing I didn't have a hand in was the actual performance of the drums and vocal. I am not female, nor am I a decent singer and my drumming skills are rudimentary. Everything, save the vocal performance and drums, was recorded in Pro Tools. Everything was mixed in Pro Tools. Yes, I dumped Cakewalk Sonar from my Winter's Resurrection days and, honestly, I wish I had moved to Pro Tools a long time ago.
Not to sound flippant, as I don't mean it to be, but I am not concerned whether people think this comes from a full, seven piece band or from two guys.
Some of us are not blessed to have access to a full band so we make do with the talents God gave us and seek help elsewhere when needed.
So in the end, people either like the music, or they don't. If anyone doubts whether we are real, or not... that's a compliment I will gladly take and run with... God bless!
Are you an AI generated band or a real one? It's a real good song and recording/mix. It would help if you put up some info. about yourself and how you do what you do to remove any doubt.
