Very unique but really good - great rhythm and fantastic instrumentation overall - truly made with passion, and the build-up with the strings is really amazing - great!

As is so often the case, it's a very special path – it takes a little while to get into it – it's like a deep, deep suction – great!

An interesting and unusual piece which I found hard to juxtapose beside my audience member POV, This piece may be compared to a scene of theatre for the ear, only backwards....

Dear Blue Period Blues, Gina, and Kryptic Musik Ltd,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings about Maria Daines song, Peace Wins The Election !!!!
You may be wondering...how is it that Zest Radio Show can upload a song by an artist, and, allow free downloads of it when, indeed, this is not the original artists band page?
Allow me to please explain so you have a better understanding of what this is all about.
First of all, the story starts back in September 2005 when I interviewed Greg Allen, world respected engineer of renewable energy resources in the Haliburton Highlands of Ontario, Canada. The interview was, gratefully, edited and mastered, including the donation of music by Steven West of Dungeon Studio, Toronto, Canada. The interview is titled, Keep The Green Alive !!!! For all intensive purposes, that is the promotional name for the interview, which actually is really called, Things That People Don't Want To Talk About... The interview that was conducted in September 2005 ended up being divided into 7 parts, and was officially released via Sound Click on October 1 2005. Then, subsequent to these interviews, I managed to continue interviewing Greg Allen in early October 2005 on Amherst Island, near, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. These interviews, once again were generously edited, mastered and had music donated by Steven West, and were split into 4 parts. Hence the interview was completed and contained 11 parts in total. Being that I was a member of the original Mixposure at the time, I uploaded all 11 parts for streaming and free download. The interview had recieved very few listens or reviews, other than from those that I held in close confidence at Mixposure as what I term my very good friends. Well, wouldn't you know it.....one of those great friends was Maria Daines, whom I believe listened to all 11 parts with Paul Killington in one sitting on a November day back in 2005. Unknown to me, Maria was absolutely inspired by the interview, and wrote some reviews for it, and also e-mailed me as to how she loved the fact that it was an interview that was informative, and, entertaining. The next thing I know, Maria sends me an MP3 of a song that she wrote, and recorded almost immediately after listening to the onterview as Maria was inspired by what she had born witness to in terms of 2 people discussing the lements of many issues, mostly encapsulating the environment. And thus, was born, one of the most amazing and poignent songs of our time, Peace Wins The Election. I was so flaberghasted that I couldn't believe my ears when I listened to it for the very first time. It goes to show, that indeed, inspiration begets inspiration. Peace Wins the Election has had a definite attachment to the promotion of the interview ever since that fateful day I received the MP3 from Maria and Paul, whom totally gave their blessings for me to utilize the song in any and all promotion of the interview I could muster these past 3 years. And now, you see my friends, due to the great gift of music from Maria Daines and Paul Killington, the message of the Keep The Green Alive !!!! interview grew and grew. Now, three years later, I can say with the utmost of confidence, that, due to the great original Mixposure community, Steven West, Maria Daines, Paul Killington, Mary-Alice Pollard just to name a few, and many many more people, the interview has now reached over one million people worldwide !!!! I owe so much gratitude to everyone that has listened, given feedback, and utilized the interview in their own presentations in schools, on radio, on television, and people's own websites and other web related media. I am truly humbled by all the extra attention that I have been awarded by so many, that I still continue to spread the message through the original interview, and Maria Daines and Paul Killington's song, Peace Wins The Election.
I hope that explains a bit of why this song appears as a stand alone here on the Mixposure Zest Radio Show Page !!!!
Best regards to you all, and, peace,
Paul / ZEST
P.S. If you would like to see more contributions from Maria and the worldwide community regarding Keep The Green Alive, please visit, www.myspace.com/keep_the_green_alive That's where you'll find all the info, and be able to bear witness to the beauty of worldwide co-operation in a common cause !!!!Also, you will be able to read Maria Daines handwritten poem, To Save Or Not To Save. If you would like to listen and download the interview for your very own, it does exist here at the new Mixposure at, http://www.mixposure.com/KEEP_THE_GREEN_ALIVE_/ Oh, and before I forget, the song is also a part of another page here at Mixposure, http://www.mixposure.com/mantra_of_peace/ I think that pretty much explains it for you my friends....PEACE !!!!
This time I can say : congratulations to you all american. Yhere's a slight difference between hope and illusion, but everyone has something to do to make things real.
By the way : beautiful song !
Let's hope it's really going to change now...
