This one ticks all the right boxes for me.
Great song and vocals delivered superbly.
Guitars rock but are still subtle enough for the song.
Dreamy intro and atmosphere...that synth that occassionly comes in just adds the right colours.
Production is very good and clear with nicely seperated guitars....everything sits right.
Good commercial potential with this too.....
All in all...excellent work....enjoyed this.
"Beyond the Veil" will be a revelation for those who haven't met THE DEEP before and haven't experienced Shane's vocal performances. EXCELLENT musical accompaniment and EXCELLENT singing (as always). I'm with those wishing you a most successful 2008, my friends.

that opening guitar just hits home. great sound on it. There is a guitar that comes in at :51 that had me backing the bar up a bit a few times. The way it cuts off like that sounded off to me. That aside, this is another killer song. Great lyrics and vocals delivered like a master.

You guys have become one of my favorite bands.
The guitars in your songs are both in your face and controlled. They are never over the top, they always serve the song.
The singing rings out pure like a bell. Someone commented in another song review that they wanted to cry tears of joy... Well, I don't want to cry but your singing does send a chill up my spine (literally). That's a REALLY good thing!
It's never a small thing when you can reach out and effect your audience like that, and you guys do it consistantly. Big fan here.
WOW! It's been said already, but it bears repeating: PERFECT. This would make the CD rotation in my car's player, it's that good. Great vocals, lyrics, toneful guitar, mix --- probably the best song I've previewed here in a while.
