Great little tune you have here. I liked the entire package. An enjoyable listen thanks
An aging American? Heck, I'm 58 with three grandkids and still feel like a kid myself. I can relate.
This song has some hot lead guitar work. I think bringing up the drums -- especially the bass drum and snare -- along with the bass guitar would really drive this song into another realm. If you're not already doing it, sometimes doubling those things will fatten them up and help them sit where they need to be.
elvis costello feel for me - that's a good thing I think .
a wee bit of clipping in the vocals I think. It's minor tho.
