What a pleasure this is to soak in, Dave. Beautiful work in every way. I always dig your music and Aleksia's vocal is so nicely done. Mighty fine tune, good sir.

I like this spacey and progressive appraoch. A contemporary creatiive enhancement of what was once concidered experimental.

Very well written song which contains a fine element balance and contrast in the story.

Dark and heavy — I really dig the contrast between the lyric and the overall feel of the track. It hits that sweet spot where tension and emotion meet.

I've heard m,any tunes in this style, this has all the style needed to make it work. I really enjoyed hearing this. Liked the lyrics, great little story line. Well done
love it, are you using the back of a guitar for the rhythms here? hust wondering as the sound of finger oil unsticking was noticed, my personal favorite part of the song
Love Celtic music...This piece by you is no exception....Has a "pull" to it that makes me feel homesick for Lancashire, in England...Heartfelt lyrics....This really is a beautiful song and well worth the listen...
Peace n love Mags
Very well placed instruments..The vocals are easy on the ears(Which is a plus for this style) very good choice..The production is top notch and layout was very thought out..2 thumbs up on this one..Very enjoyable and a reccommended click for sure..You definitely got a new fan..Have a great evening and take care..Your friend,Fredie..
Hey FP!... when I heard this last night on Nexus..I was completely "blown like a rose"
Easily one of the best written and performed celtic gernre toons i have heard on a OMD site.
My favorite all time celtic ( style) of music was the CAL soundtrack that Mark Knopher put out some years back...and still to this day it can stop me in my tracks...as this one has done!
Beautifully written and performed.
The Irish blood in me was warmed my friend. Thank you. Excellent work.
Excellent voicings on the traditional instruments.
Good story song in the oral traditions of all things Celtic.
Peace,
Tsargoth
I just love this sound.........ya want to do a cocert together? [lol] Excellant recording lovely instruments, I really like the dry vocal approach. Don't change anything is my input.
Great vocals............heart-felt lyrics. An excellent song. A very live feel with the guitar body percussion. The string instruments and the flute were all top notch.
Great job !!
I tried for a more "live" feel here. Mellowtube did the flute work - everything else is my fault ( with mic - percussion is me beating on the guitar body, etc. )
Celtic is a fun style to work with.
Very lovely folk style song. Good singing; emotive and expressive. Mandolin I play, but not as much as I used to, -do love the sound of it here, works well. Good lyrics; story told well. Reminds me of Canadian east coast folk song style. Perfect selection of instruments, -flute -tapping, & percussives and all.
Excellent.
-Vesa.
Money!!
I fine addition to the Green and Gold CD.
I like this in its current form. It has a genuine Celtic feel to it. A very nice selection of instruments to achieve the feel, and (of course) the vocal performance is spot-on!
Well done!
Nice peice of music, Folk / Celtic in it's best form. Personally I like the sound of the Mandolin and would leave it.
