Hard for me to comment on Hip Hop but like any music I don't close my mind to it. When I hear this type of music I look for the urban beat that keeps me engaged, as well as the passion in the rap. Another thing I look for is any color added to the music so it does not sound so computer generated. I think you hit the mark on the passion of the rap but the backing track did not have enough change up or "real feel" for me. Would like to hear some other sounds or instruments that could set your Hip Hop apart for everything else out there.
