Coming from my all-time favorite female rock vocalist in ALL of Indie music....your comments carry added weight to me...and it is really gratifying to know that the concept and the message have gotten through. I really like this track myself...and I do believe that every single world of it...is just a statement acknowledging the darkness that has now come to control all aspects of the human experience in western societies...and unfortuantely...all over the world.
The tour with our two bands sharing stages together and that almost happened is still something I truly hope is something that we can still find a way to make happen at some point in the forseeable future. I can't think of any other artists we'd rather do that with than with you and Paul. keep up all the great work you're doing for the animals Maria...they need you...and let's keep working towards that goal of an MARIA DAINES & PAUL KILLINGTON/AVALANCHE TOUR.

WOW again NAV!!!!!!!!! Having heard this massive anthem on Mike-K's show the other night I had to seek it out to pay some respects here, this is a MONSTER of a song!! I love it to bits and it says how I feel when I look around me at the chaos, you've captured the blueprint of the age we are living in and turned it into an amazing rock track that lifts the lid on everything we suspected and confirms that we already knew it, the ordinary people can see near and far but maybe we don't always want to know or explore the depths and those in charge don't encourage scrutiiny that's for sure LOL!! When you're busy surviving you take your eye off the bigger picture and then musicians come along and unravel everything and throw it out there to the light, brilliant! That's what I call a mirror image of the times captured as art. A spine tingling song and spot on!!! You exposed the grim facts and shone a light into the dark corners of some very crooked 'progress' that shaped the world we live in today. Brilliant musical design and creative talent that's in line with the greatest classic rock. Perfect heavy duty sound and playing that takes no prisoners, AWESOME and inspiring, that tour has got to happen!!!!!!! Thumbsup
I hate saying this is my favorite track Mike, just in case it takes away from the rest of your work, but not at all. Being a bit of a synth nut myself, this just shows your prowess of all things musical. Great intro man. I just love the lyrics and your distinct delivery. Diggin that groove, the little double kick, the guitar stabs and that bass riff that sneaks in there. Just a friggin top production track!!
If I hear this song last night in Mikes show, it blows me away. This is such a great smash song, absolutley outstanding, yes its a killer track, salute you!!
you have some crazy panning. things come at you from all directions. this sounds like the long version of a song from an old LP. you guys are top class musicians.
