A real toe tapper Cuz! It's a good choice to flag it as album bound. It shows your versatility of songwriting rock styles . I like it!

Thank you, Rich. I agree, it is. I was shocked. I can still do all the same things musically.. now i have a 64 bit DAW , faster processing for music...

That has got to be one of the coolest tunes I've ever heard. Mighty fine, Sir Jim and Brother Chef Rich! Full of originality and oozing all kinds of coolness.

Damn! this is some really killer tracks. Man you guys need to keep writing. theses tracks are awesome.
Sounds like a 12string guitar at the start...the mood is a pensive one, -the lyrics are quite deep in meaning, well thought through; indeed. Most enjoyale keyboard work, and the guitar has a unique sound.
Love that sound at 3:16 of a high pitched synth, sounding like a flute in a way. Great vocals btw; most EXPRESSIVE...fine backup; very solid production.
SUPERB composition guys. Most original artistry.
-Your friend. -Vesa.
Wow, guys ... another stellar tune from a stellar group of people!!! Very complex lyrics and melody structure. Great arrangement. Now, this is what I call progressive. Chord progression is out of this world, so are the vocals! This tune is def on my show this weekend. Thanks for making it a download, otherwise, we'd have to go through a bit more of a hassle! SUPER TUNE, guys!
Cheers,
Mike
A really terrifc telling of this tragic story. The music matches so well and everyone contributed to this: Doc's keys always so tasteful and expressive, Rob's bass playing..well, I've always loved Rob on the low end..he covers so well. Farrell...perfect vocals, emotive and totally appropriate. Great delivery. And guitars too! Real winner here guys, not too mention the lyric/music writing here. Bravo!!!!!! ~Blake
Guys, Thanks for your comments on this song. When Doc and Farrell came to me with this song......II t hit me VERY HARD. It brought tears and I knew I had to be a part of bringing this to the attention of parents around the world. I had never heard of such a thing and it REALLY BLEW MY MIND, that SOME kids of today are becoming that much desensitized. I guess I see it everyday, with the drug wars and sensless killing in the streets between gangs. We all say.....this has got to stop.........AND!!! The people hit the streets and get beat up, mugged, and killed for their efforts....
CHEERS!!!
Rob
I am HONORED to have been a part of this song. THANKS, Farrell and DOC!!
Great work guys. Terrible story that sadly does not surprise in this fictitious reality world we're encouraged to participate in. Lyrically the song tells the story perfectly and vocals were great Farrell. They reminded me at times of Greg Lake. The acoustic blended beautifully with Doc's keys which had a very haunting feel to them which was appropriate given the subject matter. Nice lead break, too. Great work all round.
Cheers
Brian
A VERY VERY sad story...
Realityi s like that,it throws all kinds of undealable things at us.
I lost friends who died because they couldn't go on living,so,this has echoes for me.
I think music has the power to reach in ways that nothing else can.
If we "Speak",if we try to reach out,the pain they feel makes our contact unbearable, our words yet more proof that no one can really understands.
But with music, music is passive,it slides into the mind with little resistance.
I knew a man who said once:
"I don't wanna die,but I don't wanna carry on living like this"
That is the nature of the beast.
The unbearable lightness of being...
As for the "Spectators"
Life has become the ultimate reality show via the internet, and sadly, this persons tragic passing is no more than voyeruristic entertainment, and that false and utterly phoney "Internet friendship",where they call you brother, and yet would do exactly the same as these have done.
Care must be taken in this brave new world, this new social horizon.
As for the song...
If this doesn't say it all, then nothing will.
It is,without doubt,a wonderful and tragic song, one I am posative you all wish you had never had to write.
One story makes the headlines, and a thousand others slip past...
Beautiful work gentlemn.
Nigel
