The first thing that catches my ear is the synth work. A cool feature to add depth to the song. Great lyrics and vocal style. The guitar strumming holds the song together like glue. Well done Max!

Thank you for the kind words. There wasn't a specific "affliction". I was actually in counseling after having suffered the loss of a family member, job then the rape of my daughter. You could say that I felt like I was on an operating table ... near death. Still, as the saying goes, "life comes out of death".
I'm not sure what the "affliction" is that you write about. Sounds like a near death experience on the operating table? Filled with love .. Sounds life changing.
