As far as the song/composition goes..I like it! I always like honest lyrics and performence. The slide is a nice touch too.
Chris, now this is a beautiful tune, telling a deep story. The slide guitar in there sounds fantastic. A song well written, for sure.
Technically, there is a lot to talk about ... but that's not important right now; important is that you told a story here using your music writing skills.
