A great mix of a nicely arranged complex instrumental piece with an excellent sounding solo guitar performance.

Some excellent work on this song! The fiddle that plays throughout is a nice touch. The strings are subtle but they sound good. A smooth ballad. I like it!

Sweet tune, Frank. Very nice acoustic playing, good sir. Enjoyed the music.
Hi just found your page, this is sweet. Super guitar work and an excellent vocal. thoroughly enjoyed this one well done
Hey Frank, long time no see ... well read
'Bring Me Back' is still doin' it for me! I haven't heard it for a long time now, it seems - and yes, I still love it. Superb performances all over; man that bass is beautiful. Lots of air and a great mix. Your voice is solid and complements this song wonderfully.
Glad I bumped into you in here - great place.
Heinz.
You got it going on. Great feel and sounds.
Sure enjoy fine guitar playin'.
lovely jazz acoustic blues frank.. diggin this immediately.. you singin? love it.. blind lemon wilson from canned heat bro.. you know him?.. awesome vocals.. maybe a bit of mose allison too or kenny rankin.. like cool jazz from LA.. yep.. san diego.. I heard that.. I'm from cali bro so i just felt that vibe.. beach boys.. nice guitar through out.. love the outro guitars.. man love that whole tone stuff in there.. remember we were talking about diminished and whole tone?
I been palyin more with WT lately.. cheers frank.. excellent number man.. great tone on that chord slide.. damn.. sweet..
Bass really compliments the song! I thought you might pick it up after the bridge ,but it sorts of just ffffades away. Really sweet song looking for a fitting ending. Good work!
Agree on that this reminds bit of Steely Dan ! Great and tasty playing with a really smooth acoustic tone. Enjoyed listening very much !
Christer
add harmony... serious hit.
Very nice tune. I don't know why but reminds me of Steely Dan, remember them?
Rob nailed it, nice Steely Dan feel to this. All it would need is a little vocal harmony! Great song, really well done!
Very soulful performance. Some real nice guitar work. Nicely Done!
good stuff here my friend....most cool..
Very NICE!! A bit of Steely Dan feel...VERY NICE!! Liked this a lot!!! Hey!! I appreciate your sharing your music.....it'll be a great "on the road" song....hehehehe THANKS!!
Rob
Okay I can't really say I've heard a whole lot of Steely Dan but if RG syas thats in there I'll take his word for it.
For me this is just totalling relaxing storytelling in musical form. The vocal performance/presentation is great .It has a warmness too it that is often lacking in music nowadays. In fact the whole mix is warm deep bass tone sitting nicely ounching slightly without making its presence overbearing. The guitar is very expressive and very very well played throughout. The acoustic is especially welcome and I'm really impresssed with the picked lines/phrases.They are beautifully played and recorded equally well...clear and rounded with just the softest hint of effect coming through.I've actually had to listen to this twice as I type because I'm afriad i may have missed something and because most of all i wanted to listen agian:
the little vocal lifts for the "you -you lift me up"line is excellent.A great little phrase performed really nicely.
I think what this needs to take up a notch is a gentle string accompanying the chorus and also filling the space a little more....the end could have a broad string rising up from behind the guitar solo part......really building the mood. But thats probably not the feel you were going for or you'd have already put that kinda thing in here.
A sincere track with depth and plenty of character really neat guitar riffs
Sly
