Song Lyrics
OLDER THAN DIRT
I see trouble up ahead, nowAnd there's not much we can doJust sit back and watch the dramaLet the storm blow right on through
Nothing new on...
I see trouble up ahead, now And there's not much we can do Just sit back and watch the drama Let the storm blow right on through
Nothing new on the horizon I have seen it all before I am older than the dirt you walk upon and that's for sure
I hope you've got your act together Time for us to move along History should be our teacher But we always get it wrong
Nothing new on the horizon I have seen it all before I am older than the dirt you walk upon and that's for sure
(Bridge)
I don't want a confrontation I just want some peace and quiet I ain't out to cause no trouble I don't want to start a riot
Nothing new on the horizon I have seen it all before I am older than the dirt you walk upon and that's for sure

That little Marshall MG10 amp and direct input combination sounds huge Ronbo! There's a good contrast between the Tele and SG guitars. I hear them both clearly but not sure which is which. Cool words and vocals. Your vocal harmonies are real good. Another good rocker!

Used to play in many semi-pro bands in 70s, played bass for David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator) on some of his demo work. Have worked with Trevor Thornton - Drummer (Saxon, Asia), Ray Brookes - Multi instrumentalist and songwriter (Rory Gallagher Band), Kathy Short - Singer/songwriter (Kathy & the Short-List), Fred White - Drummer, Carol Sue - Singer/songwriter and guitarist, Ern and The TrueVulgarian - Singer/songwriters, Paul Rainbird (band mate from early bands) and Ricky Moore (Songwriter and guitarist). Played Windsor free festival on same billing as Hawkwind and met the late great lemmy. In the 80s played in "Shoot the Butler" who released an indie album, cut at Abbey Road. Back to gigging for a while, then the studio for a cassette release called "Final Curtain" by Flix. Wilderness for 10 years,. Now I am back writing and producing my own stuff. Cuts down on band disagreements :D
