It's midnight February one and I'm strummin' on my Les Paul
I need to write 10 brand new tunes and I got no ideas at all
I'm kinda tired, it's getting late, and I can't afford to fool around
But I got this riff in my head, and I'm just gonna lay it down

I only wrote it cause it didn't take long
And if you know the words then you can sing along

An hour later I pull out a pad, and I scribble some lyrics down
And soon I'm scrolling through guitar presets and looking for the perfect sound
Down load a drum loop, tune-up the bass, and I'm screamin' into this mic
Tweak some knobs and I'm kind of amazed, that I got something that I like
     
I bet you think this is a silly song
But you can't deny you wanna sing along!
