Phil Riley, in his FIVE CENT REVIEW site, said: For this outing, Zzaj (keyboards) is joined by Jeff Olson on Korg T3, Harlan Mark Vale on Roland D50 and Yamaha TG100, and Stacey Gravatt on guitar. The music, all improvised instrumentals, ranges from straight-ahead blues to dissonant free jazz, a satisfying mix for sure. The keyboards are fantastic, weaving in & out & around each other so much it becomes well-nigh impossible to distinguish one from another, all laced with Gravatt's intriguing guitar style. The sound becomes a bit too synthetic at times for my taste, crossing territory perhaps more comfortably inhabited by the likes of Allan Holdsworth and Bill Bruford; all the same, this is a versatile effort, ideal both as pleasant background and for more active listening
