Artist Ranking Reviews
<p><font size="3">Well since there appears to be some concern over Artist Rankings I just disabled them. I never put much stock in charts or reviews from any site because they can all be manipulated. I learn more about the artists from listening to them and reading other members comments. Maybe that is just me.</font></p><p><font size="3">Anyway hopefully this will make some members happy!</font></p><p><font size="3">Dazed </font></p><p> </p><p> </p>

Have to agree with Rapster on this,your idea and the reasoning behind it is rock-solid.
Who needs anyone else to tell them whether or not something is "good" ?
We should all be in this together,to try to make this a site that will generate a positive place that will attract new listeners to our material;not an arena where we practice the ancient art of blood-letting !
Of course most musicians are independent and don't let things like ratings and charts hold any sway over there thinking,and certainly won't be influenced on whether or not something is good based on the ideas and opinions of others...
So thanks for a solution that will let all get the focus back on the main thrust: making this a site to be proud to be on.

ohh additionally. Charts here are pretty tough to manipulate. I have them based down to the last digit of the IP based on 24 hours to count as a new play.
