Songs For Rob

Rob just rang me up...was great hearing his voice again! Anyway, we talked at length....lots about his current condition and iMS. I know lots of people here always are wondering Rob's current state of affairs. I know that because I was one of them. So I'd like to pass this along...
Rob is gathering strength each day. It's still hard for him to stand/sit-up for any length of time. He gets some strange feelings in his head and throughout his body. He was told this is to be expected after brain surgery and the ensuing healing process which is no joke, for sure. He also has noticed problems with concentrating for very long on any one given thing. So it is quite hard for him to spend much time at all at the computer right now. He has not touched a geetar or other instrument yet and doesn't plan on that for awhile.
He is flabbergasted at the level of support he's seen on the site from you all. I must say -- so am I. When you combine Rob's condition with an overwhelming list of songs written for him he just doesn't know how to approach it. And he knows for sure all the songs are there -- he saw them!! But because Rob is so sensitive to people's feelings he doesn't want to listen to just one or two and then respond, leaving everyone else hanging!! I told him that should not be an issue and that everyone is simply glad he's alive and healing so don't be worrying about stuff like that.
My personal belief is that Rob will do well. He recognizes he is making forward progress daily. I asked him a ton of questions and all were answered very coherently. I hold alot of promise that Rob will be back and be stronger than ever. And now that I know he wants to talk, I'll be keeping tabs on him. I know that Rob is totally humbled by what he sees on iMS and the people. You can bet your life on this. He told me many times how he couldn't believe all the nice things people were doing for him. And I said, "I know, how incredible is that!!". That's the report for now.
