Tonight is the night! iMusicScene is proud to announce an evening with Keith Miller.
We will be featuring the songs off of Keith's new CD, Over the Abyss. The show
will start at 9:00PM EST so please tune in to iMS Radio and join us in
the Chat Room! To keep the chat secure, we do require an iMS Account. Signing up is FREE and you can sign up as an Artist or as a Listener. This is some mind blowing guitar work everyone. Keith is endorsed by some major companies and has played NAMM. That in itself is an accomplishment considering the caliber of players at that event!

From Keith's Bio -
Born with a love for music, Keith Miller started playing the viola, and then the violin in grade school at the age of 9. Keith dreamed of playing the guitar and his parents agreed that if he learned violin that they would get him a guitar. Keith worked hard and got a 6-string acoustic guitar for Christmas when he was 12. He then taught himself to play by learning chords from a chord book.

Keith advanced to writing his own songs and formed his first real band, “The Patriots”, in the 6th grade. The “Patriots” evolved into “Faith” a very good and promising band that Keith continued to play in until after high school when the band broke up. Keith continued playing violin though Junior High and sang in the choir in Junior High and High school.

In 1990 Keith Miller enrolled in Musictech College of Music in Minneapolis. Always desiring to be more proficient as a guitar player and a better musician, Keith strived to master the guitar and music theory. After graduating from Musictech College of Music, Keith has kept himself busy with music by playing in bands, as well as doing recording/studio work. “PLEX’D” one of Keith’s most noted bands, received rave reviews in national magazines as well as some label interest. Keith also worked with the distinguished producer, Ira Ferguson. While Keith still plays with “PLEX’D” and has plans for future side projects, his main focus now is that of a solo artist. With that, he has released two successful albums, “Groove Train.” and "CHALK". Both CD's have been receiving great reviews and have charted in the top 10 most popular and best selling Instrumental Metal CD's on both Guitar Nine Records and CD Baby. "CHALK" was also picked at #4 for Best Instrumental Release of 2004 by ©QUINTESSENCE METAL

Hope to see you there!
Additionally, I took the liberty of uploading a 30 second clip of one of Keith's new songs.

Yeah, Dazed, that teaser got me sucked in. Could have let it go for a bit longer, bro. Just kidding. Looking forward to the interview
Cheers

Hey Keith and Dazed, I am SO MUCH looking forward to this Friday. I had a nice little "preview" of some of the material and it is simply awesome! Excellent sound! You go guys!!

keith man.. I'm sorry that some people took it as a shot at you.. I just wanted to hear you play bro.. and I said go keith to underline the fact that i had read all the bio stuff and was impressed and expected to hear some really hot playing from you.. and the clip DID sound distorted to me.. i don't use a radio so i don't need new batteries.. just depends on who's taking the shots i guess.. cheers..
didn't even hear a solo.. but go keith !! the clip sounded distorted.. common man.. put up a clip to hear how awesome he is.. hey keith check out my FLASHIN.. we got metal in common and I can wail too.. cheers..
This is awesome. Keith and I have been friends for years. He's an awesome guy and an amazing guitar player. I won't be able to listen to the interview on the 13th, but I look forward to listening to it next Monday.
Is it Fridaye yet??? LOL! Really, I am looking forward to this epecial!
i think the interview is only about 75 minutes so I think I will run it a few times for anyone coming in late.
Yup...I know Keith. I've been friends with him for going on 9 years now I think. We met each other on the very first Carvin message board back in 2000 and have been friends since. Sorry that the clip is so short, but I have the new CD (as well as the first two) and I can tell you that it's definitely worth it. Starting from his first CD which was awesome you can hear Keith polishing his recording and music ideas as each CD came out. All three CD's are awesome, but all are a little different.
I can't wait to hear Keith's interview and see what he has to say about this new CD and whatever else.
