<p>I wanted to thank everyone that joined us in chat last night and who listened to the live broadcast of Saturday Night Rocks with Mike K! The Center Stage Presentation with Michael Fix was absolutely fantastic! If you missed the show, please listen to the rebroadcast. You will no be disappointed!</p>
<p>I wanted to extend a special thanks to Rob Grant for hitting 1000 Reviews this week! Outstanding achievement my friend. Remember everyone, the best way to say thanks for a review you have received is to write a review of their music.</p>
<p>I have added some additional content on the main page. You will now see some charts and latest songs added. I think this will help give some more exposure to our artists. I am open for suggestions of what else you would like to see on the main page. I may not be able to code all of them or do all of them but I will do my best!</p>

I just don't like charts anyway .. and this is why.. some are happy.. some cry.. see what happens when I got no bush? peace..

thanks for the clarification brother.. calculation sounds legit.. lol.. only thing is if the listed most played songs have a review link then only those will get played and reviewed.. fine for the chart toppers but not for all.. we should consider helping all the new songs get heard and reviewed.. maybe the newest songs should have the review and play links instead of the ones that have already been played/reviewed? to me number of plays only speaks, as gabe says, for popularity.. not necessarily for musical quality.. i guess reviews are here to speak for quality.. and with your new contest guidelines i'll bet we'll see a bunch of awesome in depth reviews soon.. cheers..
The charts that I added are based on plays + downloads. We calculate the plays and downloads by IP in a 24 hour period. I figured by adding the play links with a Review link next to it may encourage more reviews.
I really like the new extras Dazed. And I LOVE blue !!!! I'm with Rapster on song of the year, month, week, day, whatever. Never really cared much for popularity contests. Increasing newest songs would definately be on top of my list. We are growing and fast and new songs are popping up by the dozens daily. The more that are shown the better IMO.

I think new songs are the most important thing to be listed.. don't really care much for song of the month or year.. how is that calculated? you'd think if songs have lots and lots of reviews they would be on that list.. anything that leads to heavy competition or resentment would be best avoided IMHO.. love this site dazed and what you've done with it so far.. great crew too.. cheers..
