Dazed, I'm probably the most guilty of all, it has to do with the situation I am in, there is plenty of commendable talent on here, it's just that i'm really worried.

Hmmm.... I think it's more than just a review or thanking someone for a review of your song. It goes far deeper than that IMO. It's a form of bonding with other musicians if you may. I've met so many great friends here by just exchanging reviews and PMs. It really does build a family atmosphere and unites us all. I realize that not everyone has the time to do 20 or so reviews a day, but sheesh, one or two? Like Dazed pointed out, pick a couple of songs you like and say something NICE. Put a smile on someone's face !!!!

As for the reviews....of course it is nice and polite to respond to a possitive review, same for negative btw ! YingYang !
Imagine you wrote 2000 reviews and receive 125...now that is silly !!!!

MMMMMM......Listen to Mixposure Live Radio Shows, or the rebroadcasts to check if you were in is a way better option i.m.h.o. ! Post a playlist ?
A poor option....PM everyone that is on the playlist before the show will most certainly raise the listeners rate...haha....but still isn't as good a listening, have a good time and maybe hear one of your own tunes passin bye !

Hi all just saw this
As a relative new boy to the site, I got no problems doing the odd review here or there. The good side is you get a chance to hear some mind blowing music. and you get feedback on your own stuff.
Granted not every one has either the time or maybe even the inclination to write reviews. But we all enjoy them when they arrive. If I expected a reply to every review I did, I'd have given up ages ago.
For me it's giving a bit back to those who take the time to run the site, and those who have the balls to place their material up here for us to review. There are issues I've seen about multiple postings and songs not being on the front page for long enough. I just go through the artist listings and take my pick. It's all there.

Agreed, Todd! No doubt! I remember when I joined how great I felt and welcome I felt when I posted my first tune and I was greeted with a bunch of reviews. That's how I fell in love with the site to begin with!

I just hope everyone takes this to heart. Reviews are why the majority of us are here. I understand that not everyone has the time to do them or thinks they are worthy/capable of doing a review but we all listen to music everyday. We know what we like and what we don't like. Review the ones you like! Just let the artist know you like what they did. It will bring a smile to someone's face

You know Heinz......I have to say.....I am VERY GUILY of NOT REPLYING to "Reviews" MOST of the time. I guess, I spend most of my time Reviewing and feel that trades off my time, so I always hope that suffices. PLEASE!!! I HOPE EVERYONE who reads this understands my philosophy on this. BUT!! Y'know, when I think about it......I could be misunderstood as as unappreciative of the reviews......I SURE HOPE NOT!!! Here I go thinking again...........better start replying to all
