Artist Page Changes
In an effort to reduce the load time of your artist page, since it housed not only artist comments but fans as well, we had to make a change. You will see your first 9 fans on the page with a page next to see subsequent friends/fans. <br /><br />The music page was also changed as you will notice. Granted before we had it set to 10 or 15 songs per page so it was not bad but when there were many songs plus reviews there, it loaded a bit slow also. <br /><br />So anyway there are some changes there and we will probably doing some tweaks over the next few days. <br /><br />Thanks!<br />Dazed

yeah as for the flash player I am working on something. I was programming a choice of the flash or "your" player but there is a bug. So I decided to just wait until we make the other changes in a few weeks.
ah, you changed from the flash player, I like it much better this way, excellent. The site looks great and working marvelous.
Just one question, when you go to the song review page, theres not always enough room for the whole song story, but when you hit the "more" button, is there a way that could take you to the rest of the song info? instead of to your page.
Don't matter how hard you try, you just can't please all the folks all the time lol. Have a good chrimbo one and all.

Still, speed-wise I can't say I see a difference (it was never really bad, that is).

While I think the list of songs is a good idea (one does not have to scroll as much, etc ...), I don't think that the speed made a huge difference, not on this end anyways. It wasn't all that slow before and it's definitely not faster now. Also, I don't like the fact that you can't read lyrics and/or song info anymore, plus, the song pictures are all gone too (well, the pic of the topmost song is now the pic for the entire album, that is) ... so, all in all - I liked it better before, for sure.

It only happens when I pull the player up and try to get the review page up at the same time. Everything else is good...it could be me again, I'm finding my ducks aren't always in a row..but I could do that no problem when the MP was the player. So it could be my flash..never was much of a flasher, that may change with some hearty eggnog.
Wave it should be fine. If you are having speed issues, run a tracert to mixposure.com and tell me what the speeds are.

you doing some work today Dazed? Pages seem slower than normal. I go to new song pages, start a song, hit the review page and things just kind of freeze up from there.
Thanks Mark. For some artists the page load time is like night and day. I will be making some changes along the way but this is at least better. I run 10MB down and on some pages it took some time to load so I can't imagine what slower connections did.
Yep already noticed that, nice work.
It makes things easier and a bit quicker.
