I need to apologize to David for my late posting on this. I was so occupied with some of the personal things going on in my life I completely forgot to get this posted.

Aug 9th

OK, The time may have come for Kiaren's transplant.....We just received a call from the transplant team to get him to the hospital in Melbourne ASAP. The situation is that there is an organ and they have to make a decision on one of two options. The first is that the liver is of a size that can be transplanted into Kiaren successfully. In that scenario he will be transplanted. If it is determined that the organ is too big......it will go to the other recipient. We will know the answer at about 8 am Aussie time Monday morning. If the transplant is a go, Nancy and I will be travelling to Melbourne by car immediately.. If the situation is not a go ahead, then we wait until another organ becomes available.

We are of course praying that this organ is the one for our precious young man, but whatever happens we want to raise a prayer or thoughts of good will for the person who died and gave permission for their organs to be used. Our thoughts go out to the family who have lost a loved one. We thank you with all our hearts for this gift.
Those of you that follow a path of prayer we ask for your prayers. Any goodwill and positive healing thought for Kiaren and support for Nikki his mother will help.
Thank you in advance....this could be a crazy couple of months ahead.

For those that I am engaged on projects with, I will let you know as soon as I can what the situation is.
Brave Empire, as discussed I will continue to be active where ever I can by Internet and phone. I will need some help from the team though.

Let us see what the morning brings.........

David Pendragon

Aug 13
Hi, if possible could you put an update on Mixposure to let all the friends I have know that things are going well with Kiaren and his transplant. Good thoughts and prayers around the world are working miricles with his care. Anyone who wishes to help with small donations towards his mothers accomadation can reach me at this address. david.pendragon@yahoo.com.au or through the donations button at: http://www2.mixposure.com/Mondays_Not_Home/store.php Things are very good medically but very very challenging at a finance level and the suggestion that we ask for help has been hard to do for me. If its not something the site can do....thank you anyway for the support and thoughts already given. We are going to be here at the hospital for at least another 4 weeks.

"I will meet you in the Music."
David Pendragon

Wow great timing! David just sent this update 2 minutes ago!

Aug 27th

Hello everyone.

It is with great relief that I can write this email to say that Kiaren is doing very very well and is in fact out of the Children's Hospital and staying at the Liver transplant unit which is a Ronald McDonald [thank you!] facility for families of transplant patients. He will be there for at least one more week and then back to his home in Albury. Ongoing care will involve weekly trips to Melbourne for several months.
His doctor, the fantastic Dr. George Alex is very happy with Kiarens fast recovery and the medications appear to be doing the job they are meant to at this critical stage.
In himself K seems well and very thankful that the larger part of his need for a new life has been achieved. He knows that his life ahead will still contain huge challenges and a rigidly focused lifetime regimen with medication every day for the rest of his life that cannot be forgotten.
He has so much catching up to do with his education and that for a very intelligent 14 year old seems a daunting task. He is showing great commitment and desire however to reach his personal goals. Just the fact that he HAS personal goals, in itself is staggering to my mind!
Some time ago he decided that graphic design and computer games design were areas of his greatest interest, also just recently he has been trying his hand at Metal vocals........ He is however going to have to put in a great deal of energy to catch up academically. He will still have a great deal of missed school time ahead.

The thing that amazes me so very much is his attitude. Certainly there are times when it is all simply too much. Very quickly though he seems able to 're-frame' his thoughts and shrug off the negitive and look for an answer. I pray that he continues to have the stregnth and also the help needed to continue to do this throughout the difficult years of a teenager.

Our thoughts go out to the family of the wonderful person who gave Kiaren the gift of a new life. We do not know them and they do not know us, however there is a deeply mixed feeling of concern and gratitude for whoever they are. The person that signed the organ donar card and donated their organs will be remembered forever by our family and by Kiaren himself. As is my practice I am lighting a candle to the memory of the donor each night and will continue to do so.

Finaly for now, to all the fantastic healing energy generated by so many of you by prayer circles, sweat lodges, Reiki teams and simple good thoughts and well wishes we can never thank you enough. All I can say is this, the surgeon, the nurses, the doctors have ALL stated several times that Kiaren is very well ahead of the 'expected' schedules for recovery. From one doctor I heard the words " It's rather amaziing how well he has gone ".

This entire period of my life has brought me to a place of wonder. I am filming and writing words and song, hoping to in some tiny way express what is felt deep within. It all revolves around two words, 'Thank You'

"I will meet you in the Music."
David Pendragon

Thank you all so very much. All these comments and letters from around the world are being kept for Kiaren to reflect on in years to come. This whole experiance has shown us all how much people care. THANK YOU
Said it elsewhere, David! I'm very happy about the news!!! Fighters WILL survive! This is such great news, David! I am happy for everyone. My continued prayers go out to you.
Mike
Bless all involved in this wonderful transformation of life! Peace...
David, I almost cried for you, such an emotional roller-coaster for you and your family, but this is truly magical news. I would like to send Kiaren my love and tell him that he has great strength to have battled through this. You all need time to reflect and time to be thankful I know, but also there is a great path ahead, full of wonderful moments! May Kiaren grab every single one of them. With love from the UK, Melsi
