Review Crew...Well Sort of LOL

As most of you know, we decided to scrap it. What we have decided to do is this. </span></span></p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-size: large;">We have created a New Forum called <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=129&sid=09c4cac46018dec2ba7c759fe0b9eb80">Critics Pub</a>. Many of you may know <a href="http://www2.mixposure.com/Steve_Gilmore_and_In_No_Sense/">Steve Gilmore</a> from Mixposure, SoundClick or other sites. He is probably the leading Music Reviewer on the internet! Steve has decided to start doing reviews on Mixposure. </span></span></p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-size: large;">If you would like to be a Reviewer, please create a topic in the forum with your criteria. If you want your music reviewed by Steve or one of the other Reviewers, reply to them in their thread. DO NOT CREATE A NEW THREAD. The only new posts in that forum should be by the Reviewers. </span></span></p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-size: large;">I think this format will meet with everyone's approval. These reviews wil obviously be a little more in-depth than the normal reviews. Well i Know this is going to come across as a negative and i certainly don't want to cause any DRAMA but Dazed "These reviews wil" has 2 Ls not one. C'mon boss ........

Guys I hate to dredge up the old stuff but the Review Crew that was to be implemented was by request only lol. That is why those in favor did not understand what the big deal was. Markyone's post in here is really the only separation from the original idea.
All this does is keep it separate from the artist pages.
I can't see much difference between this and what was previously being planned. However on reading the blog I can see how this might be a better idea. Your putting your song into a seperate thread for a specific review. What you get you live with.
In many ways it eases the arguments about being kind on peoples music. You want a serious review you place it in the thread. You want opinions then leave it under the normal reviewing process.

Steve, just stopped by to say Congrats to you! You're a man I and many others respect when it comes to reviews! So, that is really cool you're doing it for the Mix.
However, I can't keep my mouth shut - gotta say this: I simply don't get it! What is different from this format to the other one we had in mind, except for the fact we know who's reviewing. So, we'll end up with a review Crew anyway using the forum ...

the diffrence in this format is that you have to ask! for a real review.{ no holds barr.} literally!
makes all the diff. in the world. I.M.O. which is what i suggested in the very begining. to bad no one was listening.
think about it, if someone came over to your page and just gave there honest opinion and they were harsh, you would prob. get pissed! cause you would think they were being mean as hell! but under these sercumstances you asked, therefor you got a review from someone that is known for there reviews, insight, and honesty. allthough you may dissagree with what they may say, you still asked for there opinion!
therefor you can't **** at admin because of it. and in my opinion that keeps the good people here at the mix out of it!
they should not be getting a ton of pm's frome every one that don't like what someone said! that's just B. S. and i think that's what there trying to avoid. and don't blame them!

Digger, just like Dazed said - the (by now over-discussed) initial Review Crew idea was exactly that: Only those who wanted to be reviewed would have been reviewed.

i wen't back and did some reading in the forum, and there is really no diff. but the forum thingy! to be compleatly honest, i couldn't care less anymore. as you said, this is way over discussed!
there gonna do what they want, anyway!
