<p><span style="font-size: medium;">OK so lately I am having one of those, "What gear would I like to buy" moments. In reality I need absolutely nothing. Since when did that ever matter though? I have been considering a PRS Guitar over the last few months. I would love an acoustic but PRS acoustics are about the price of a decent down payment on a car. Lately I am just not feeling very musical so I was wondering if something new would kickstart the drive and motivation back in me. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">So anyone else in the market for new gear?</span></p><p> </p>

Yeah, I'm with ya Todd. I've spent so much time mixing and mastering I get to play maybe once every 2 to 3 months max, and that's only to lay down my tracks then back to production again.
I've had that darn Korg M3 in my shopping cart far too long. May be time to press that submit button already lol.
I always find that a new toy inspires a new tune.
It seems I aquired way too many guitars last year.....not too much inspirement there......but I did get a new Roland Fantom G-8 keyboard that is truly inspiring....
absolutely. I have been eye-ballin the Roland TD20x studio/live series, set of drums for a few years now...and i feel like it's going to happen soon.
...it's a matter of being able to "let go" all the green backs it's going to take..lol
aww ya, live now-die later additude...gotta love it.
Right now I think I just need top clean out my studio and make it sound proof. Too much noise in this house to record!
Bri-an.....you will love the V-drums...over the years I've upgraded to all canvas heads and changed modules a few times.....don't try to save money on the kick drum pedal....get the best and you will be happy...!!
I've been wanting a new acoustic guitar myself but what I want is quite a few bucks (like a Taylor or Martin) so for now I'll keep wanting but the burn is still there.
I did just get a new MXL9000 tube mic which I'll be debuting soon on vocals for another JRod and Farrell collab song. This is the same mic Mack Sanders uses (recomended by Mack) ....but for some reason I don't sound like Mack when I use it, lol, but it does have a nice tube warmth to it...which is inspiring!
I've slowed down some on gear accumulation lately...especially guitars, I'm running out room.....

A good guitar for the buck is a Martin 000-15, less than a grand, half that from eBay, sounds great, very light weight, satin finish so you don't have to worry about scratching the lacquer and last but not least.......It can be drug by a rope up the side of a mountain and still sound good while waiting for the inspiration.....he he.....it has become my favorite over the flashier ones.
