New Site
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Just wanted to give everyone an update on the new site layout. I am hoping to have it up and running by this weekend. Once it is up, I am sure there will be some bugs as well as features that we may want to add back in so do not be alarmed. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">The new site was a long time coming and I think the 3rd or 4th change we have had. The technology changes and it is always a good idea to stay ahead of the curve. I know most of you upgraded from Windows 3.1 years ago and recently from XP to Windows 7. This is just a natural progression for us to try and provide feature rich content.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">While some of us embrace change, many avoid change like the plague. I hope everyone gives it a chance. Just found the CHAT link in the On Air! It IS there, excellent. And I'm totally digging the Cpanel layout! Much easier to understand...Super cool!!!
Maybe a big red flashing CHAT button, when the Djs are on...sorry, I know you have your hands full Dazed, but the new look has ideas flowing!
And I LOVE the new On Air banner and placement!!!! Woo Hoo! that'll get them to come...but it needs a link to the chatroom too! Maybe the link could appear when the Djs turn on their 'On Air' banners.......
the problem is that on a dev machine this runs like a champ. Once you get it in the real world with a ton of data, it slows down a lot due to queries and other things. These issues will be fixed.
I admit, at 1st glance, I didn't like it, but after some browsing, I can see the potential here. I think this is more simplified, yes, but a necessary change in my book as I was always getting comments on how people always get lost.
Surely you must realize Mad, that upgrades and changes take time. I am sure we will find all sorts of things that will need tweaking. Please allow Dazed some time to iron out the new site.
It will get better everyone. With the problem we had with that virus thing appearing, I just decided to move this in early.
I agree with Mad Marauder, Just because you can delete a post doesn't mean you should, especially if it's constructive criticism. This a problem with other music sites as well. It borders Fascism and Socialism and finally Dictatorship.

It's a great change, Todd!! Keeping up with technology is always good. Navigation on a website is key to keeping and attracting members. Very well done!!!
site looks very cool gonna take me some time to navigate my way round but im up for change ..mix chat seems to be not ready yet ..but no worries im sure everythings gonna sort itself out one way or another
Was struggling a bit early this morning but a cup of java and half an hour of looking around and I am loving it! Chat is working and it is much cleaner and getting easier to navigate. Very nice I say!
I've only just entered into the new site and I love it. Will take a bit to find out how to navigate, So far I find this works like Windows 7 (I got a new puter last May with 7, thank goodness I am familiar enough to be patient and just click on everything to see what the subject matters entails). The look when first coming in is a mind blower, I feel as thought I entered a brand new world of Mixposure. A big thumbs up from me!

Todd, you are doing a stand up job, sir! Changing a site with so much content is not an easy feat, but you are making progress. Little glitches and nuances will iron out soon enough. Keep up the great work!!
Let's test this out for a bit. I can probably set it up so that you can determine which page you land on, blogs or action page. This kind of gives you a choice of old style vs new.
I will delete those last three posts to this blog. Each time I type in info to Dolce's blog below, it does not post anything there, but posts an empty post here. We'll see if this attempt shows in the proper place. I'll leave it, if it does.
