Mixposure Updates!
Just wanted to do a quick update of what is going on behind the scenes at Mixposure!
In a week or so we will be putting out a new release with a bunch of changes. One of the changes I am contemplating is a new forum. Now we have the VBulletin Forum but I am tired of several things about it. The separate signups/logins being the biggest issue now. The new forum will be pretty basic and will not have categories. So in other words, there is no dedicated Intro Forum or Watercooler. This is actually kind of cool because only the most recent topics will be at the top of the forum. We will see about moving all of the posts over from the old forum but at least this way, we only have the one login and no separate signup.
I know many of you are looking for a Facebook audio embed module. This will be coming as well and hopefully in this release also. I will keep everyone posted on that one also.
More details will be coming but these are the heavy hitters. We are also looking in to a possible bug on the charts where some songs are not showing correctly.
If there are any other issues you are seeing, please let me know!

The advance button on the bottom right to see the next page for the followers is not working. There are 2 pages available but only the first one is accessible.
Farrell - no way to hide/unhide. We were really trying to cut down on so many options.
DJ Schedule is up under the Radio Tab.
I have a question: Is there a way to hide or un-hide songs as before or is that option gone?

I agree on the comment deletion. I will see what I can do.
Mach - You must be following each other to send notes to someone.
I'm unable to generate a new note to someone I follow. Is it only possible to send to an artist that follows me on my page?
I think the tag cloud is fixed now. I do want to add a genre search so that will be coming.
In the "Tag Cloud" screen on the home page we can access particular genres which then list songs in that category. I am considering submitting a song in the "Halloween" or "Holiday" category and currently have not found a way to review other songs in those categories. So the genre search mentioned would be much appreciated!
By the way, when I click on "Symphonic" it sends me to a list of songs in the "Christian Rock" category.
I also agree with Dave Deal's comments about a reviews count.

as for message system you have to be following each other. this prevents a person from signing up and following everyone just to spam.
(1) While not one to bitch, (that's a lie) I gotta report displeasure with the private message system. I get the Twitter-like restrictions on who you can and cannot contact via pm, but I can't seem to send one to most if not all of my followers. I understand the need to click on the name as it appears in the search function, but what's a poor boy to do when it simply doesn't appear? Trust me, it's not a matter of mispellings or capitalization, if just doesn't recognize the name. I even have an instance where I could previously pm someone only to not have their name recognized by the search function when I tried to send one later.
(2) Is the availability of artist downloads in the works?

The counts will be coming back and that is something we have been looking at. Right now the code was not equipped to handle this but it should be added in to the next release. Then we can get it added in.
Dave I am not 100% sure what you mean by the tags? All genres are created by the members. It saves me from adding in everything hehe. I want to add a genre search in also so that will be coming.
Todd, I am afraid if "most reviewed songs today" and "highest daily reviewers" lists or something like them is not present on the front page that reviews will basically end soon. With notice of reviews in the same list as other "site comments' they just disappear. Perhaps I am wrong but maybe you could count up the number of total daily song reviews posted since the changes and compare to prior to the changes.
"Symphonic" tag goes to "Christian Rock". Would like to see the "Symphonic Rock" tag and/or a link to all the genres.
