As some of you may have read HERE we are in the process of changing the name of the site. The new site name will be Internet Music Scene otherwise known as http://iMusicScene.com.
The problem we had is this site has evolved since the early days. Originally it was more about guitar but we have so much more going on now. Mixing, Mastering, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Flute, Piano just to name a few. We thought "GuitaristWorks" was kind of limiting to some musicians.
So the plan is to change the logos up and get everything pointing to the new name. We will keep GuitaristWorks.com in play for some time so everyone can change their external links but they will continue to work so no need for panic lol.
You can use the new name on your links also. As far as I can see everything is redirecting as it should.

As you can, we have made some changes to GuitaristWorks. Pardon our dust for awhile. The changes have been happening pretty fast and with luck we will soon be done. If you notice anything wrong, please let me know so we can fix it!
Since your artist pages can now be customized, we posted THIS so you can show off your new look. You do not have to be an expert in HTML to modify your artist page. If you are good with HTML, I am really looking forward to seeing what you do!
As mentioned before we are still looking for videos!

We just dropped in the latest updates to fix a few lingering problems. Electronic Press Kits have now been corrected so you should be able to view yours with no problems.
Please let me know if you see anything out of the ordinary!

Just an update on the song upload and modify bug that is happening to some of you. Hopefully it will be resolved tomorrow. They made a fix today which resolved some of it.
Part of the problem is we have our forum at www.guitaristworks.com/forum/ and the new code added a forum in with basically the same url. They are trying to fix the issue but if it becomes too big of a pain, we will change the url of the forum. This may throw some people off and our google url's will be hosed for awhile but it is more important for us to make sure everyone's site is working!

Most of the bugs have been fixed. You should now be able to upload and modify your songs, videos etc.
I have also enabled the Electronic Press Kits just so you can see them. There is a slight bug on them that has been fixed in the next code drop in a few days or so. If your does not work, you get 3 error messages, send me a PM and I will fix yours temporarily.
This is just so you can see what they look like.

You may see some erros uploading music. I amworking hard to resolve the issue! Always a few bugs when upgrading 
Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
As you can see we are making some changes. There is going to be some dust for awhile but we are working on getting the bugs out. The history links and upload progress meter do now work at the moment but I am working on it!
Currently there are two themes that support the new changes. These are Cobalt3 and Sage. All artists have been moved to Cobalt3. You can change your theme back but the functionality will not exist for the new features. I will be trying to create some more themes in the not so distant future.
I will be adding some updates along the way.

Guys if you are reading this we should be on our new server now! I am running some tests but so far so good .
After trying to resolve an issue with our previous host I just gave up. There was just not a sense of urgency to resolve the problem and they quick to pawn it off as a software issue or a database issue.
Our apologies for the downtime. However our new provider is familiar with our software so that will make any issues we see down the road easier to resolve.
