Since I started this Journey of Music , I was always Amazed at what Music I found to produce. Mixed in with all the Gothic and Alternative Music i do, was a Selection of what i call "Alternative Country". Stuff that aint quite Country and aint quite Gothic. Well I'd never quite done anything with these songs, so I thought as a Special Giveaway Promotion, I would put together a CD , of Work that would chart the Journey from the very First Track to the Last , over a two year span. These Tracks would go on the CD as they were Originally Recorded, with later Mixes sounding Fresher as the CD played through. At first i thought No one is gonna buy this idea, and may put People off.

TOMBSTONE

I Anounced the Release as a November Giveaway, and all those Folkz that would like a copy , i could mail out to People free, thinkin it would be a Dead End.I posted Preview Tracks for People to listen to and Judge for themselves. The Response i got back was Amazin, and to this very day i am still being asked for these tracks.

I can Remember the first time i released " Tombstone". I actually promoted it as Country. One of the Reviews came back as " This aint Country Kid, and the Songs you've released are'nt worthy of that Genre". " Your like a Runaway Train " Lol ( I wrote a Song called Runaway Train after that ) But they are what they are Folkz, i make no claims as to what they are , but I am proud of them. It is a Continualy Amazing Journey to me,with many Twists and Turns along the way, Would I change anything ? No i dont think so, I wouldnt be Me if i did.

If Folkz enjoy em as much as I do creating em, then that makes the walk all the better, and Me one step closer to a Dream ~"~

Bobby Carlson found success in Nashville. While signed to Lofton Creek Records, his song "Paper Plates & Dixie Cups," reached #47 on the Music Row charts, on March 3, 2004. After a few years touring, Bobby come home to form the Stones River Band. Bobby Carlson & SR have played every summer at Indian Ranch in Webster MA. In 2009 he played with Sammy Kershaw and in 2010 opened for Charlie Daniels. Bobby’s performed to big crowds at the sea shell stage at Hampton Beach NH and was a headline act at Country Woodstock on Labor Day Weekend. During the cooler months Bobby plays regularly at several of New England's hottest country nite spots, like: Midnight Rodeo in Manchester NH, where his originals are so well known that his song, *"Paper Plates & Dixie Cups," has been choreographed and made into a country line dance. That in-turn lead to people wanting to purchase the album again. All this buzz lead to on air interviews and actual radio air play and was a big reason why Bobby Carlson was invited to perform a series of showcases during 2010 CMA / Fan Fest in June at various venues around Nashville, which in-turn lead to a great review of the disc by *Cashbox Magazine.

Bobby Carlson is an excellent performer. As good as they get. The shows are always upbeat, tight and will make you want to dance or if you prefer clap your hands and stomp your boots.

With Bobby Carlson it's all about having a good time. Bobby has experienced sharing the stage with Faith Hill, Leann Rimes, Charlie Daniels, Mark Chestnut, Marty Stuart, Darryl Worley, John Anderson, Tanya Tucker, Bryan White, and Leann Womack.

One day last summer Bobby's manager Jeff Davis of Unicorn One Management of Milford, Mass pitched Bobby's talent to Spotlight Records and after a review of Bobby Carlson career and music, Spotlight Records agreed this man and his music needed to be re-released using today's internet and promotional efforts as only Spotlight Records can. The themes of the songs vary as they should on a CD but regardless of whether it is up-tempo or a tear jerking ballad Bobby handles the vocals with perfection. This is a must-hear.
How is everyone doing on their Same Song Title Madness Tune? The window for this event is beginning to narrow so please jump on it! I am sure one of the DJ's will be featuring all of the tunes on their show. Also make sure you use a genre of "SSTM Feb 2011" so the song appears in the chart we created just for this.

Have fun!
