4 way mix collab

Hello

Im thinking of a 4 way mixposure collab (again)... "Wings of a dragon" worked so well and im working on another song at the moment...

Im happy to lay down a drum track and a basic keyboard idea (for melody)... Will need a guitar player (as im thinking rock track)... Bass player ( I can get one if no one here at mix fancies it?) and of course a vocalist/Lyrics writer..

Im happy to mix it all down, or at least have a go...but im also happy for one another person to work a mixdown ...

If interested, reply on this and we can see how it goes..

          Have a great day!

              Dave

Bulletz and Bootz

BULLETZ N BOOTZ

About November last year, I was lookin for a New Promotion I could do, but I wanted a New angle.Somethin Folkz wouldnt expect. Since I started this Journey of Music , I was always Amazed at what Music I found to produce. Mixed in with all the Gothic and Alternative Music i do, was a Selection of what i call "Alternative Country". Stuff that aint quite Country and aint quite Gothic. Well I'd never quite done anything with these songs, so I thought as a Special Giveaway Promotion, I would put together a CD , of Work that would chart the Journey from the very First Track to the Last , over a two year span. These Tracks would go on the CD as they were Originally Recorded, with later Mixes sounding Fresher as the CD played through. At first i thought No one is gonna buy this idea, and may put People off.

TOMBSTONE

I Anounced the Release as a November Giveaway, and all those Folkz that would like a copy , i could mail out to People free, thinkin it would be a Dead End.I posted Preview Tracks for People to listen to and Judge for themselves. The Response i got back was Amazin, and to this very day i am still being asked for these tracks.

I can Remember the first time i released " Tombstone". I actually promoted it as Country. One of the Reviews came back as " This aint Country Kid, and the Songs you've released are'nt worthy of that Genre". " Your like a Runaway Train " Lol ( I wrote a Song called Runaway Train after that ) But they are what they are Folkz, i make no claims as to what they are , but I am proud of them. It is a Continualy Amazing Journey to me,with many Twists and Turns along the way, Would I change anything ? No i dont think so, I wouldnt be Me if i did.

If Folkz enjoy em as much as I do creating em, then that makes the walk all the better, and Me one step closer to a Dream ;) ~"~

Bobby Carlson found success in Nashville. While signed to Lofton Creek Records, his song "Paper Plates & Dixie Cups," reached #47 on the Music Row charts, on March 3, 2004. After a few years touring, Bobby come home to form the Stones River Band. Bobby Carlson & SR have played every summer at Indian Ranch in Webster MA. In 2009 he played with Sammy Kershaw and in 2010 opened for Charlie Daniels. Bobby’s performed to big crowds at the sea shell stage at Hampton Beach NH and was a headline act at Country Woodstock on Labor Day Weekend. During the cooler months Bobby plays regularly at several of New England's hottest country nite spots, like: Midnight Rodeo in Manchester NH, where his originals are so well known that his song, *"Paper Plates & Dixie Cups," has been choreographed and made into a country line dance. That in-turn lead to people wanting to purchase the album again. All this buzz lead to on air interviews and actual radio air play and was a big reason why Bobby Carlson was invited to perform a series of showcases during 2010 CMA / Fan Fest in June at various venues around Nashville, which in-turn lead to a great review of the disc by *Cashbox Magazine.

Bobby Carlson is an excellent performer. As good as they get. The shows are always upbeat, tight and will make you want to dance or if you prefer clap your hands and stomp your boots.

With Bobby Carlson it's all about having a good time. Bobby has experienced sharing the stage with Faith Hill, Leann Rimes, Charlie Daniels, Mark Chestnut, Marty Stuart, Darryl Worley, John Anderson, Tanya Tucker, Bryan White, and Leann Womack.

One day last summer Bobby's manager Jeff Davis of Unicorn One Management of Milford, Mass pitched Bobby's talent to Spotlight Records and after a review of Bobby Carlson career and music, Spotlight Records agreed this man and his music needed to be re-released using today's internet and promotional efforts as only Spotlight Records can. The themes of the songs vary as they should on a CD but regardless of whether it is up-tempo or a tear jerking ballad Bobby handles the vocals with perfection. This is a must-hear. Listen to some of Bobby Carlson's music at http://www.cdbaby.com/bobbycarlson

How is everyone doing on their Same Song Title Madness Tune? The window for this event is beginning to narrow so please jump on it! I am sure one of the DJ's will be featuring all of the tunes on their show. Also make sure you use a genre of "SSTM Feb 2011" so the song appears in the chart we created just for this.

Have fun!

Your Illusion

By Morrigan, 2011-02-14
Your Illusion

Your Illusion..........

Sometimes....but not all the Time, you have to Dig deep to find the Inspiration and Ideas you need. I have always used Music as a Form of Theropy, and I do consider myself very lucky that i can use this outlet to filter Emotion. The Fun songs tend to be Ideas you have at the drop of a Hat , so to speak and are usually from that little place inside that contain fond Memories and such. Sometimes you have to wander that little bit further to find a song, and re-visit places you didnt think you would be going back to, thats just the way it is. I tend to feel once those words or Music are Created it helps towards the Healing process for you have a Document to look back on and hear , and know you've moved forward.

" Your Illusion" for me does just that. It took me to Problems that i was dealing with on a Daily basis. I think life at times can be very tough, and the Obsticles we have can be many fold. This song allowed me to shed some of those feelings for a brief moment, but have something to show for it. The Vocals are almost Whispered, as if to reflect a state of Rememberance. Again although very much taken from a Darker place, the words speak of being able to walk along side of Memories, rather than let them take over your Life.

We walk past Victims of fates cruel game every single day of our lives. Others that have fallen in some way, the Homeless, and Folkz that have nothing. Sometimes you find it in your Heart to offer some Token of help for these Souls, other Times we walk on by. I tried to think of, What if it were me , would i walk past me ?

I feel out of all the songs iv'e written on this Journey, this for me is a Reminder, that, however Bad i feel things get in Life, in Love, as long as i can still hold one Memory, and the Elements that make me who i am, then theres always a Tomorrow, No matter how much we try to hold Time.

No matter how much we miss the ones we lose, they Forever walk this Journey with us. Lift us when we fall, and smile when we do well. xx

Morrigan ~"~

Till Twilight

Till Twilight

Till Twilight ......

I've written quite a few blogs now about different songs and subjects, but its always a thrill to have the chance to write about something Great. So often in life you get a chance to work in a way that really does make waves. Back in 2009 i had the chance of working with one of my best Friends in Music, Mr.BillyD. From the first time i heard "Taking Control" i knew we were gonna see Great things from this Man.

I'd had the chance to work with Bill on a track called "Relax your Mind". It was a test Collab really, because niether of us was really sure if our Styles would Gel. We had a feeling, but not sure ,so we tested the waters. After the Initial release of "Relax your Mind" and the open Arms with which it was recieved, it kinda shocked me to learn that not only was Bill a lover of Soul and R'nB, he also had a Darker side to his voice. He'd put together a backing Track of Strings and Beat, that as soon as i heard it was instantly hooked.

It didnt take long for the Track itself to be fleshed out with Bass line , Guitar, and a sweet bit of Pump Organ. With extra Choral line swirling in the background , it was Dark Romance of Sound that i kept listening to alot throughout the Project.

I guess you could say i have a very Strange voice at times,my usual Gothic style of singing is a cross between a Gothic Elvis meets Vile Valo Hhahaa , but thats just the way it makes me feel :) So for me the Melody was a cool deal. For me it is BillyD that completes this Song because the Touches he added are like Gold. The Echoing of the Main Vocal Lines , the High Harmonies, the Presence is all Bill. I was blown away when he sent the track back to me.

If you've never Expirenced working with someone, or singing a Duet, it is an Experience I really Recommend, because the Twists and Turns a Project can take is Amazing, and can leave you shocked at what yu can produce. The rest as the say is History....

BillyD is a Fantastic Guy to work with, one of the best. Good both in and out, and its been such a pleasure to walk along side of him for these years. To me "Twilight" will always be one of those Memorys i take with me forever, and i believe we broke down the walls of Genre the day we released it, and created a piece of History for those Brave enough to embrace ........" Twilight"

BillyD Music©/Ravenz~Heart© 2009-2011
