Just read the prior reviews, I'd not have put this as being a national anthem. It's not a piece I've heard till now. Your interpretation has a sweet opening with that acoustic. I'm impressed with how well layered this is and the power it generates toward the finish. Nice work

Well done...I thought I'd got to this...maybe I did hear it I'm sure...thought I reviewed it...this tune, being from my Mother country ( I have dual citizenship). You do it so well with invention, that Sibelius would say how great an interpretation it is. Very powerful; DYNAMIC! I always get a lump in my throat, when I here this, never heard it done so clever, never heard a rough version, always heard a good celebration felt rendition. Thanks for sharing...never to late. I put this in my faves. You're a masterful player Doctor C...WONDERFUL.
Take care. I've heard you playing in collabs,. figured it was time to get here again.
Take care my good friend always. kIITOS PALJON-Vesa.

Hey Doc, It's getting to be more like home here everyday. The first time I heard Finlandia was when my father said "son ... this is great music". You see, we are from Finland. The recording I heard was done on an accordian, but sounded huge ... like a pipe organ. I love your take on this. Some day I'll have to finish the version I started.

Another great composition.
Very nice acoustic guitar work.
It does have a europeabn feel to the song's structure...
Their popular music has a vibe all of it's own...
Again,great synth work.
An enjoyable listen mate
Nigel.

Ah remember this fondly from mixposure. Love the overall feel of what you've done here and the beautiful bubbling keyboard stabs and gorgeous hammond runs always bring a smile to my face. And the big anthemic crescendo makes me wish we had a better national anthem than Advance Australia Fare. Great fun. I already have it downloaded from the mixpo days but couldn't resist giving it aother review. Cheers, Brian

Thank y'all for the kind words! I didn't know but Gary Carciello told me that the day I posted this track was the Independence Day in Finland. What a coincidence! Well, happy holidays to all Finnish people!

Nicely recorded -- the acoustic and that outrageous synth thing are perfect. Sounds like you had a lot of fun on this. In fact, there ought to be a law against something this cool.
Nice job and a very enjoyable listen.

Doc love the sound of the acoustic and the bass line is very tasty. This song just flows along so nicely picking up passengers along the way
Very cool tune!

I don't know what you're doing in this... but I LIKE IT !
A really interesting choice of instrumentation - somewhat whimzical - along a classical Hymn format. It's wild - it's complex, and it makes me grin.
