(1) I'M STARING OUT INTO THIS KIND OF DARKNESS WAITIN' FOR MY HEART TO FEEL OH YEAH-EE-YEAH SO IF THIS FEEL IS SO EXTRAORDINARY THEN WHY IS HOPE OH SO HARD TO FIND OH HARD TO FIND OH IS IT REAL?
(CHORUS)
IT'S FEELIN' LIKE A COLD WINTER'S MOURN THE CHILLS OF YESTERDAY ARE CHURNIN' WE'RE JUST RIDIN' OUT THE STORM ...ON THE CHILLS OF A WINTER'S MOURN OH YEAH YEAH, YEAH
(2) DEEP THOUGHTS ARE BREWIN' IN ME DON'T WANNA KNOW DON'T WANNA SEE OH NO DOES IT SEEM TOO IMAGINARY TO KEEP A HOPE THAT THINGS WILL CHANGE OH AN OUTER SHELL IS WHAT REMAINS IT’S WHAT REMAINS
REPEAT CHORUS 1 (ADD) ON THE CHILLS OH ON THE CHILLS OF A WINTER'S MOURN AH YEAH-EE-YEAH!!

Nice piece. I'm a big Floyd fan so this appeals to me a lot. Guitars are great sounding and vocals spot on. I love the sparse use of notes with the lead guitar, very Gilmouresque. Great work!

ECLECTIC ACOUSTIC ROCK is the fundamental component of all you'll find here! Guitars (acoustic and electric)... tailored bass lines topped off with softly accentuated emotive vocals, solos and riffs... noting: you never know when you'll find keyboards to smoothen rougher edges (piano, organ, strings). *after all details have been (refined?) I find the best drummer(s) to bring it all home. BTW: I am a Solo "Studio" Artist (A Multi-Instrumentalist)
Melodic Side... Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Journey, Elton John, Cat Stevens, Lobo, Bread, Kansas and my heavier side... Black Sabbath, early Rush, Judas Priest and Def Leppard are major influences but as I see it my overall musical "Watering Hole" runs deep!! Folks who love the acoustic guitar, an unapologetic love for the 70/80's and early MTV stuff adding a (getting older?) modern folksier, singer, songwriter, cross-over (countryish?) feel... seem to like what's happening here. Ha! Honestly I'm whatever you decide I am!! \m/
* I've used backing tracks to present and perform my songs as close to what I felt when writing them. The live show is myself (vocal and acoustic or electric guitar) in either a duo or trio styled group; I tend to shy away from the one man acoustic show; but it has happened.
