A cosmic musical dance up. Must admit I was very pleasantly surprised when those first notes opened up.
This hits listening spot very nicely..... Like it lots

The way you layer up all the instrumentation and the harmonies behind you main vocal makes it so easy to love this song.

I Love the clarity and sheer depth of this piece Rich. The pain of someone disappearing out of you life never really goes away the melancholy sticks around like a lonely ghost.

I like how this was layered and as i'm listening it seems you were playing and were freed while doing so. Music can be such a great stress relief. Nicely done.
I really like this event.. i hear the hands on production of this...and it's done with amazing dexterity (IMO) and jammin with it was just absolute pleasure...
because the pasteNcut is missing for the most part of the delivery (hands on) it has a soul of it's own (direction was not predictable) huge KudO's for this work...electro sounds SO different when it's different.
excellent stuff.
Thanx for this comment. I'll soon be uploadibng a video to youtube...maniuplated clips from the original Monty Python sketch that got me going on this one. As for the hands on approach, I wanted to just let go, playing everything into Cubase as live as possible, and no fussing until afterr all tracks laid down. Learning, or should I say, relearning to let go, be sponataneous, is something most of us have to, ought to, engage in again. That was the nice thing about working with tape in the early days...no Audio Snap, no Pitch Correction...get it down or do it again, or, if the right 'miustakes' comed along, have sense enough to leave them alone. m liking your very inventive trax by the way, and yes, different is...well, different. THE RAT, now that is different and, most important, doesn't come across as 'contrived'. Many try to be 'different' but, when you 'froce it', that's what it sends up sounding like...forced.
All the best...
Brian
You have been creative here my friend the pitch bending is really neat !
I used to do tricks with portmento along these lines - even shifting whole tracks up bu loading them into Reason...you probably remember some of my more "out there" stuff .....Like the trance elements that come into being every now and then...this track never settles upon any given form its truly experimentel in a good sense.
Long time since I bothered adding a review to a listen/play long time since I played actually
