Really touching piece. Well crafted lyrics get the point across perfectly. For what it's worth, and it may not be much, I think that this song is so personal that it would maybe be more effective with just the vocals and 1 instrument, be that guitar or piano. I think that would give the obvious emotions in the writing and singing to shine through more. But what would I know. I love people who share their souls with others in such a way as this. Great work.
I can hear the love in your voice as you sing this..I read the info. I really like the simple harmony, the lyrics are self explainitory.. It must be comforting to know that they almost left together for the great journey...
