Swings great Gary, I always love a good horn section too, synth or not, this one has a great live feel to it, which I think comes from the drum and bass. Theres a lot of fine music from that era.

All the best, mate!
Thank You, Spaceboy.....That was quite a generous review. You get me. I mainly do instrumental music on my own, as it gives me a creative chance to express my self, I know not a lot of people enjoy instrumentals, but they're at the top of my preference in music. Being partially deaf, I don't understand the words, so a voice serves the purpose of a melodic instrument to me. However, when available, I do read with the song
An instrumental rock / soundtrack style piece with a compelling and interesting structure with a fine bass melody. These elements, combined with a creative fusion of a hymn, ballad and perhaps a classically arranged 18thc English folk dance, are blended into an enjoyable listening experience. Several parts, which musically in places, in some ways, I found reminiscent or very early King Crimson. Although the overall sound and emotional atmosphere is nothing like that band as this piece is more anthemic.
The piece is skillfully formed and makes a compelling soundscape.
One instrument, an oboe or perhaps a low English horn which followed the opening sol guitar and which was only briefly explored, I found to be a wonderful sonic texture in the mix. Thanks for sharing.
